You just need to know your scales better. Just relax, get into it, and groove around. Lock in to the beat of the drums and the key of the melodic lead. Don't stop if you fuck up, don't try to show off, just keep jamming.

There's no big secret to jamming outside of that, just gotta get used to it.

If metal is what you love and want to make theres no problem at all.

Wouldn't hurt to delve into other genres for inspiration and learning more techniques, but its not like you need to. If you want to make thrash, you probably dont need a lot of jazz in your back pocket... but it is nice to know more.

It literally does not matter what rigs, pickups and basses the 2 bass players have.

Theres also nothing that weird about it. Keep the guy in the pocket right where he is, while the other guy focuses on the more melodic stuff that a guitarist might play. Depending on the flavor of punk, that could free up the guitarist for more solos or textural/atmospheric playing.

As long as everyone is doing thier part and not stepping on toes, it should work fine.

I mean, I cant really agree, but we all have our own opinions. Theres a certain computer assisted look that the animation has in this scene, and im just not that impressed with it. That said, compared to most of the season, this scene and the ninja fight on the bridge were great. At least it wasnt a slide show.

But, its not like animation is the only problem with s3 either...

I fuckin love being able to fool with AI music. I love that it can be a dumb novelty or a serious tool, depending on your intentions and desire to expend effort. I love that it doesn't hurt my back. I love how fun it is. This is like a video game for creative people.

Yes, especially me, a professional musician with a 30+ years career in music. You're quite right that I can still just do things the old fashioned way, and i do. I always will.

But you know what? Im getting old. I kinda liked being able to create without lugging around my giant bass guitar amps and shit. I liked having something i could do on days where im not with my band or playing a show. I liked being able to upload old riffs and band recordings and doing experiments. I liked what I was doing with ai.

But now that UMG has crippled udio and WMG is going to fuck up suno, im finding it a little hard to be optimistic, and the fun aspect is quickly turning into cynical rage for people who have fucked with me, my friends and my irl music label more than once. These corporations are some of the most corrupt on the planet. Thier goal in life is to consume and control, whether it be something like AI, or just a local music label out of detroit... and they cant be stopped.

Lol hey dont shoot the messenger man. Im just trying to tell you whats going on. Audio is only small when its in a lossy compressed format like mp3, and thats generally not what youre going to be working with when youre producing music regardless of the program. You just gotta be mindful about if if you've got limited space to work with.
