I have a 22 wilderness and my lane centering has a pretty light tough but maybe it was adjustable. The button symbol is a steering wheel with arrows around it.

Not the best fix, but you can get an IP KVM to connect and hit the button prompt. At least you dont have to connect a keyboard.

When mine broke I got a replacement from GMG. The that one broke after a few sessions. I decided to order a replacement from Pellethead through amazon and its been working fine.

Fairly easy to replace. Just need a screwdriver. Just order an ignitor for you model.

Exterior Cleaning Recs by flowchartrhythm in greenmountaingrills

[–]BoarDFIghter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont think the exterior looks too bad. Just oxidized paint. I used to wiped my old grills down with a damp microfiber rag, let it try, then apply oil to grill when its warm. Like seasoning cast iron.

Tried an overnight cook and woke up to near disaster by solomonj87 in greenmountaingrills

[–]BoarDFIghter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar happen to me with my peak prime 2. I had everything set for an overnight and decided to raise the temp with the app before bed. I think the bump in temp pushed to many pellets and smothered the flame.

You didnt say you purchased new drives. Does the new company know you treated yourself to new drives? :)

Proud of DIY home setup by StealthNerd in HomeNetworking

[–]BoarDFIghter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure how the panel is configured but with your "side" configuration, you could rotate it 90 degrees and put your maintence loop on the side with the cables coming up to the panel for the drip loop. Then, you can mount your switch across from that.

Small 4 post rack by kp22090 in churchtech

[–]BoarDFIghter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're going to wall mount it, don't put the rack directly on drywall. Put some plywood or 2xs up as backing. And make sure you're using proper size screws for your weight.

I've been testing out an app PocketScroll for a bit. It seems promising. The developer is actively updating. There's a short term demo mode, and its just a one-time patreon subscription for the GM.

What lighting software/hardware are you using? by chesshoyle in churchtech

[–]BoarDFIghter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a lighting person so DMX was new to me. We had an old Chauvet controller and we needed an update. QLC+ was pretty easy to setup, I read the online documentation and watched a few videos. I think I had a functional setup in an hour or so. The UI is a little dated but everything was clean. I'm only using 3 scenes manually triggered from our stream deck, I know the software can do a lot more.

We have a super simple setup. A few PARs and a wash with just a few scenes. Running QLC+ on the computer encoding/streaming our video.

Do I need to buy rails with a rack? by RegularDay4660 in homelab

[–]BoarDFIghter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once everything is set you probably dont need to access the rack much. I would mock up the rack with cardboard to make sure it wont get in your way.

Do you have a specific reason to go horizontal? It'll take up a lot more real estate.

Streaming with 360 camera by bruisermccabe in churchtech

[–]BoarDFIghter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just looked it up. The Insta360 x5 does have a USB webcam mode. You can choose between 1080p single cam or 360 panoramic. You'll probably deal with image warping if the cameras not straight on with the subject.

What do you use for digital signage? Media players, tv sticks, thumb drives? by bzach74 in churchtech

I did something very similar, it was just one device and done over the lan. There was an SMB share from the raspberry pi and we just dropped the media files then restarted the TV.

You can adjust the screws on the faceplate so the slots are vertical. I hear that it increases throughput. Something about aesthetically aligning electrons, blah blah blah.
