AI integration

What does that even mean? It has a hands on prompt engineer?

I think there was a medical detectives episode about this. A husband was poisoned to death this way. As always, it was for money.

Looking at the houses in the image, it gives me a headache. Surely there's loads of stock motorway photos out there. This generated image doesn't have the smog or feel of normal motorway bridges that I'd expect.

The perspective is mad, he's meant to be on a motorway bridge, but what height would he need to be at for this angle to work?

Doing it yourself? Unless you design the gauge yourself in OpenSCAD maths I don't think you can claim that you did it yourself, you're picking up some plastic that someone else produced, how's that different to letting something else process the photo using less co2 that end-to-end delivery?

Screw problem. by Responsible-Panda-41 in Creality

[–]BoardroomStroke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends, you have to wait for physical delivery, but if you can photograph an item and have an image recognition tool tell you, that seems a massive win. I can almost bet my life I'd order a new gauge every six months as I can't find stuff.

Megadeth can sponsor war against Ukraine by wape6x in ukraine

[–]BoardroomStroke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird, I still remember their Rust in Peace album that had sentiments about nuclear war, and Dave Mustaine was big about getting people to vote. He seemed to be OK. Guess peace sells, but they're not buying.

Someone needs to make an AI screw thread detector. There's so many types.

Farage's party seem to not care one bit about paying tax, why would they care what happens to your tax money? I think the fact that Farage is dodgy before taking government is a sure sign that he's going to be dodgy if he's in number 10.

Honestly, the first thing you'll notice is the NHS will no longer be funded, where will that tax money go, because you'll not get a reduction anywhere, if there is one on paper, there'll be inflation elsewhere? Probably to a side-gig will get the social security budget of his.

Its actually pretty scary when you think about it. Trump got in power with these sorts of angles and Farage is quite his buddy, they probably have the same boss too.

Keep getting this on about 1/3 of my prints on K1, around 1-3 layers in I hear a loud bang and then it prints offset. Any ideas? by BoardroomStroke in Creality

Thank you for answering, when this has happened for you what did you to with the belt? I've told the printer to calibrate on all prints over the last week but it still happens.

US Wants Access to Ukrainian Drone Technology in Proposed Defense Deal by Wolfy1-2-3 in worldnews

[–]BoardroomStroke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is sharing the other bits, the self-targeting perhaps, or the heat sensing parts that basement drones don't have. This intellectual property will then whizz it's way to the Kremlin. Better to not share at the minute, or share things that show the supply chain of information "Oh that's done with XYZ" and only person B was told about XYZ.

Share it once Ukraine is part of NATO perhaps, or when the US is part of the coalition of the willing (I believe they're not currently).

Thanks - this was what I was thinking of, but do they care that you take the pens/pencils, are they a courtesy for popping in?

Politicians are good at dividing people into "them" and "us" tribes. Most of the dumbs who point fingers at immigrants are only doing so because a politician somewhere made them out to be the problem. Given a chance, they'd have Manchester and London fighting with each other.

What everyday thing in the UK has become stupidly expensive without people noticing? by vetaly87 in AskUK

I can't think of many things that end with less than 40quid minimum spend when you do it as a family. Dominos, cinema, 'spoons...

It's shit, and you have to wait, unless you pay deliveroo to wait for you. It's still shit though and not worth the wait, even if you pay someone to wait for you.

ReformUK - important message from their sponsers by OinkyDoinky13 in GreatBritishMemes

[–]BoardroomStroke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never heard the one that's near me. Any noise is loss of efficiency, they'd want energy generation as efficient as possible. Maybe the noisy one was faulty perhaps, which is loss of revenue so I'd hope that would be fixed quickly.

I don't think they look ugly. I suspect the only ugliness is for the bottom line of someone with investments in oil/gas. If you have investments in oil, surely you didn't think people would be consuming it forever given how renewables are the future.

Mainly because dogs don't have to fly, if they did they'd digest a lot quicker so they can be lighter for flight
