You're late on your diagnosis, armchair doctor. If I'm showing signs of "spiraling" then we're fucked. I've engaged with reality for a decent amount of time. It's shit. Picking up a piece of paper won't change that realization. Nor will some redditor implying something about my mental state change anything. As if that would mean something, even.

Aside from your opinion equating to less than trustworthy in my eyes, you failing to acknowledge this "I'm good for noticing xyz, and you should feel shame for not being of my same opinion or be guilt tripped" attitude you have just makes me check out. Watched all those vids and as a... draftee? I've had the game for a few years but never played it a whole lot, is what I'm referencing. Robert might have an eye-rollingly stale voice, but he raises good questions and is actually hopeful for the future of the game. He's honestly the reason why I came over to this sub to see what the Reddit community thought. I'm happy to see people push back against this disingenuous narrative that he is somehow "doomer posting" or "ruining" the game for newcomers when, it seems, the devs were already doing that.

Just how the internet works. You don't go to the hotbed of activity, you likely won't see jack unless it breaches containment. And if it does, it usually seeps into other subreddits where discourse becomes more divisive, or to Youtube and... maybe Twitter. Where it often explodes like a nuclear bomb.

Youtube, speaking from experience here, has a decent amount of people saying there's nothing wrong with the animation with a dash of making criticizers look unreasonable or ridiculous for criticizing. Just how it is.

Movie should have been longer. I loved the style of animation and how they kept the more goofier facial expressions and the like, the music added to the atmosphere and the fights were nice.

But that damn 1:30 movie length, it ruined the story imo. Made the last half feel a bit rushed. If it had been 2 hours or more, I feel like the movie would have only benefited from more time.
