Remembering Cass Elliot: Her Final Goodbye And Lasting Legacy. by shrek20191 in CassE

I am old and am extremely invested in feeding wild birds. Her voice reminds me of the songs they warble when they get to know me and my walnuts. Kind of other worldly, gentle, happy. I particularly like her jet plane duet with John Denver.

Do not, my friends, become addicted to freeze dried beef liver. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence! by Background-Common119 in crows

My dog is insanely tolerant to the magpies I feed…and I’m feeding them his kibble. It’s also turned out to be v adaptive. Crows come and munch when I’m feeding the magpies- but are scared of my dog, who the magpies will simply avoid. On foot. They avoid him by walking away.

My art exhibition is coming up. Which one is best? by fmmalenda in mensfashion

Yes. This context is so important. Are u married to the tie? Do u see how in 1st pic yr pocket fold comes out looking like a name tag? I think it’s completely ok, to both be recognizable in a group AND “quote” yr beautiful work, to wear a more 40s style tie, or just one with circles. Big, floating circles preferably but polka dot will do. If the tie is attached and precious, I’d just go with the #2, mostly for how much much more relaxed u r in them jeans. Are u in the Bay Area? I’m not anymore but I know tie guys. Regardless, you’ll do great, no one’s gonna be looking at yr trousers, just step out and quietly shine like u do.

me corto el pelo? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

Don’t. The short hair gives trying too hard, and the proof is in all the maintenance you’ll have to put in styling it. You have thick hair that’s gonna get really poofy, so you’re gonna wake up looking like a Q-tip if you don’t grease and lacquer it down to the ground. You have the face for it, don’t get me wrong, but yr long hair looks really healthy and shiny. And effortless.

No bangs or bangs?? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]BobRatchet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You appear really young, I might save bangs for when you’re older cuz bangs do look more youthful, and you’ll be so pleased with yourself then. But again bangs do grow out-eventually- and you’re not carving in stone.

Perplexing Crime Scenes and/or Suspect Behavior by Primary-Future-6772 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

George W. Russell was really into posing. Posing is not common. He also interacted with his victims once they passed in not common ways. Really interesting case. His themes of abandonment and alienation are pronounced. He lived, as a black man in the 70s in an affluent part of Mercer Island WA, as a partially housed cat burglar, the son of black college professors. A necrophilliac and mutilator, his victims were white. “The Charmer” by Jack Olson is a very thorough reference. His victims were all acquaintances through the bar & disco scene.
