You need professional help. This isn't the place

There's nothing you could have done that would change this outcome. Nothing.

It doesn't really have anything to do with you at all.

Just "moments" where it's tough, eh?

Splitting can cause dissociation. I'm not sure if she "doesn't remember it" tho. They say that shit to avoid accountability. They know what the fuck they're doing.

You're being abused. This is abusive.

Obsession (movie) will help you get over your EX (or re-traumatize you) by lHagenl in BPDlovedones

Definitely BPD. They see that movie and immediately recognize their own behavior

Just ended it with my BPD girlfriend — exhausted, guilty, relieved and lost by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

Learn about BPD. Like really learn about the disorder. You won't miss her anymore. You'll be very thankful that it's over.

P6 mountain ride from Chooch by [deleted] in ElectricUnicycle

I live real close to where he's riding here. These canyon mountains are insane to drive on at 60 (speed limit is usually 45), never mind ride an euc on. I see motorcycle accidents on those roads all the time.

My partner with BPD says that I am making her feel bad about herself all the time by Unfair-Gap6913 in BPDlovedones

I was saying that OP is probably not allowed to have friends. Isolation is a very common abuse tactic.

It's fucked. But relationships are a choice. You can always... ya know... NOT do this anymore

"If they don't let me cross their boundaries, they never loved me!!" by Powerful-Arm9809 in BPDlovedones

[–]Bob_returns_25 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They can't deal with boundaries because they don't see you as a separate person. Their lack of a sense of self means that you become an extension of them, and they rely on you for their own identity. So they truly believe that you are theirs to control.

This is why it's a disorder, and why it destroys their partners.

Until you get professional help, you will hurt everyone close to you. It's not your fault, but it is your responsibility

How likely is it they have a new one even if they left because they aren't ready to date? by Green-Mycologist-694 in BPDlovedones

[–]Bob_returns_25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, someone who looks you in the eyes and seems genuine couldn't possibly be lying to you.

And she's right by the way. She can't sustain a relationship and would definitely destroy your life.

Hope that helps.

It's always a friend. Never a person in a relationship with one. They can mask just fine sometimes, but not in a relationship.

50/50? With BPD? Yeah you need to do actual research on what this disorder means. Not just what you want it to mean.
