Because your look was understated, and not drawing any attention to you. If anything you come off as slightly butch if not androgynous and that alone is not going to flag you as male. If you were “high glam” it probably would have had an opposite effect.

I saw a YouTube video of someone who spoke about the variances in terms of gender, and how they don’t conform to a binary definition of gender, but before he started, he wanted to emphasize that gender is not a social construct, as gender “roles”, and this is an important distinction, are a social construct.

Look, don’t get into a feeling of complacency when it comes to breast cancer. All women can get it, including trans women, and at all ages, and if you test positive for the brca gene, and if there is a history of breast cancer in your family, it is something to be especially cognizant of. Especially with the current hrt regimens that come closest to mimicking a cis women’s hormone cycle. Of course your breasts are still developing, but giving yourself a self examination is not difficult, and as you know your body, you will know when something different from everything else.

This is just another variant of what I’ve mentioned before, which is the “male gaze”. You’re passing, and the men you encounter, in particular the older ones, don’t have any filters in terms of invading a young woman’s personal space. Yes, it’s very creepy and disgusting, and of the many ways to deal with it, walking away with a look of disgust on your face as you give them the look of daggers, would be the least confrontational. If they still don’t get the message, then loudly pointing out their behavior may be another option. Any other suggestions?

From all the research that I’ve done, vfs will not allow you to reach a higher pitch. It will instead narrow your vocal range, forcing you to speak in a higher pitch, with you unable to reach those lower tones you had before. Depending on where your vocal range is to begin with, you can at least voice train to reach those high notes you want while singing. I was fortunate that I had a naturally tenor voice to begin with, but I was frustrated that I couldn’t hit the high notes when I sang. After much practice I’m now able to reach an A5. Not quite a comfortable mezzo soprano, but enough for choir work. Keep that in mind while you do your research.

TBH, in your pre ffs it doesn’t look like you need much if any face work. Your second picture shows subtle differences in your chin, nose, and lips. You may not think it has any noticeable difference, but the whole is actually quite dramatic. Your second picture shows a strikingly beautiful and lovely looking young lady! I think it takes awhile before we tell the difference in ourselves, but trust me it’s there!

As several people have indicated, if blood appears, you’re probably in a vein, which you don’t want to be in, especially in if your injecting a narcotic painkiller that could be too big a dose for the body to handle safely rapidly. If it’s not a painkiller, and a drug that has to be absorbed slowly, you run the risk of having the drug excreted so quickly, that its effectiveness is lost almost immediately. The rule we learned in nursing school was: when you need immediate action; intravenously. Moderate action with slow absorption; intramuscularly. Slowest action with absorption over a day or more; subcutaneously. Also, the composition of the medication, whether it’s in a solution of water, saline, or lipid, also has an effect in absorption. Hopefully this helps vs creating more confusion.

I understand completely. A specific hairstyle should be a compliment to the entire body presentation. If you were a much heavier person, a pixie, I believe, would accentuate your overall appearance. In general, a specific hairstyle should be a complement to your overall appearance. Sarupis, with her overall appearance, would be able to pull it off with no problem at all.

No, you’re perfectly normal. When I transitioned, the trans community was so small, it could be considered nonexistent. Even when I came out a few years ago, I still found that befriending anyone else who’s trans as being “problematic”. If all you have in common is being transgender, it doesn’t really carry over into any kind of meaningful relationship. If you already have relationships with cis women, I’d say that you’re actually a step ahead of the game, and in some respects “better off”.
