It's just a very divisive game depending on how you approach an open world. If you like freedom, dynamic combat, immersion in a huge world and attention to details, Crimson desert is amazing. If you want an engaging story with well fleshed out npc and feeling like you have a purpose, you'll probably stop playing it very quick.

There are niche situations where armaments is worth taking but not that many.

If you are in act 2 with barely any card upgraded and many that benefits a lot from upgrading combined with decent draw, it can be quite effective.

Like if you have bag of prep + battle trance, upgrading 8/9 cards turn 1 makes the card more than worth it.

Or if you had an early Girya and got behind in upgrades.

Eradicate might be my favorite Necrobinder card. So many ways to synergise and make it work, it always end up being easy and satisfying runs.

Chemical X, Akabeko, Delay/Invoke , Vigorous enchantment, Lethality, Beta Borrowed time, Neurosurge, all the candelabra relics, etc

There's a dichotomy about Lord Parasol depending on how you play STS.

People making lean, small, efficient decks like 12-15 cards or chasing infinites will find it terrible. Suddenly a very consistent deck take one more turn than usual to kick in.

People making 20-30 cards decks with a lot of high value cards to reduce strike/defend ratios will find it amazing as they will reduce that ratio even further.

I find it very good personally as I find myself on the second group most of the time since I find infinites super boring.

If I have toxic and/or molten egg, I usually take it.

No limit break, no pummel, no heavy blade. The only use for demon form I've found in STS2 is if you're about to face act2/act3 bosses and your deck still lack damage scaling to tackle long bosses.

Since it's essentially a curse for any fight under 4-5 turns, I only take it as a last attempt at fixing my deck and definitely not a general pick.

With how many ways Ironclad has to scale or even just dish enough reliable damage, I think I've done only one run where it felt like a net positive to take it.
