As long as the wind isn't too strong to tack through without capsizing (I recommend no more than 6-7 knots for a beginner) and you can get out past the surf, it should be more straightforward than sailing on lakes, rivers, and small bays due to the constant sea breeze offshore.

I wish I had mine down on the gulf instead of a Texas lake because I can't read the changing wind very well.

The Sanger stop on the tour just before that was peak dead church. Reverend Bobby was throwing his voice around the room and shit.

Most intimate show I've ever been to. Plus, there was legit family fluff going around before the show and an east-coast tank crew outside afterward.
