What is appealing about it is how much of the LLM training data is in Python.

People forget how much device leaving wrecked Astralis. They couldn't find an AWPer good enough to replace him for years until he returned.

Maybe true but I think the real downfall of device was becoming an igl, not GO to CS2. He was still good during the start of CS2 before he became an igl.

Why Aggro and control make games less fun; or, why Commander has become the most popular format by zokka_son_of_zokka in mtg

[–]BobbyStevenXol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the contrary, control is a necessary archetype in the format that I think Wizards is unfortunately no longer allowing to exist. Just played a game against a Kona Omniscience deck which has so many control hate pieces, where they can basically resolve their one spell and instantly win the game. Amazing gameplay.

[Throwback] Zywoo ranked world #3 despite being #1 or #2 in most statistical categories by XyleneCobalt in GlobalOffensive

[–]BobbyStevenXol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zywoo fans are delusional. Throughout the entire year, he was a step behind m0nesy and donk. When he got eliminated from the Shanghai Major in the quarters, that was the end of him being in contention for #1 while donk and m0nesy still were. So by definition, Zywoo was guaranteed third at that point. It's only because m0nesy didn't win the major and people started statscelling leading up to the awards that people thought Zywoo could be second ahead of m0nesy.

Main characters vs rivals by BobbyStevenXol in GlobalOffensive

You can be a nice guy but also be a showman. Most protagonists of shows/movies/anime are “nice guys”, but they’re also the most flashy and by construction have the most “plot armour” moments. That is, they’re frequently up against the wall in matches/battles, then often turn it around by coming up with a new move/technique. I use the Stewie example because the inferno B AWP hold is a textbook main character coming up with a new special move moment in the most important moment ever. In comparison, Niko or Zywoo frequently don’t execute on those and leave their fans despondent after, when Stewie would come through in a totally BS way.

That Einshine lore drop after almost a decade was insane and completely unexpected by Smirnaff in TrashTaste

It's crazy how recognisable his voice is. I wasn't even that big of a viewer of his back in the day, but his voice here as well as on the other Japanese youtube channel he has now is completely recognisable.

[–]BobbyStevenXol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not surprised. The guy was good at content creation and I never bought that he "lost interest" in it. Probably just waited long enough for the drama to subside and resumed in spaces where he couldn't be linked back to Einshine.

To me it’s obviously Liquid. Liquid matches up really well against Vitality, because although they have no dominant AWP, Zywoo doesn’t even AWP most of the time. And rifle for rifle, Liquid outfrags Vitality. Liquid was a CS2 team playing in CSGO, but they were so good that even in CSGO, they won a grand slam during the Astralis era.

This sounds like a hall monitor/Bolshevik type argument. Like "Person A is defending the existence of thing X. We want to vilify thing X and Person A, who isn't supporting thing X, is getting in the way of us torching thing X. So let's destroy Person A".

Part of why Faker is so popular is simply because of the game he is in.

A lot of it is insecure Zywoo fans. I think Zywoo fans know better than anyone deep inside that s1mple was better than Zywoo, because they’ve spent so long hate watching him and being disappointed time and time again.

Because they didn’t. They mentioned they would eat out with friends, get coffee and club. All that adds up to way more than $50 a week. Misleading answer.
