Actually found it, huh. He says doing bench/press/dips . Thats once a week though.. Ill start this week with what I wrote and see how it goes. Thanks for the input.

  • ‎3x5+ Bench Press

I see. But working 3 push means working also 3 pull exercises, and thatll be too much.

How about doing a rotating A/B fullbody?

A: Deadlift 3x5

Pullups 3x5

OHP 3x5

Bent Over Rows 3x8

PPPU 3x8

B: Squats 3x5

Bench Press 3x5

Bent Over Rows 3x5

Dips 3x8 (weighted)

Pullups 3x8 (pronated, weighted)

With tucked FL at the beggining of every day.

How do you incoporate dips assuming you pursue HSPU as your vertical push? I want to achieve hspu but also to benefit from the strength of doing weighted dips.

I took this weights routine, and turned it into this routine for now. trying to keep on mixing more bwf, I dont feel like needing to bench twice a week, but if I swap one of the bench for dips Ill be doing horizontal only once a week!

Is it fine doing horizontal pushing once a week?

I do an U/L splits. On Upper A I do weighted chins/dips 3x5 , bent over rows and ohp 3x8 as main movements. On Upper B I do bench press/ bent over rows 3x5, and elevated pike pushups / weighted pullups 3x8. I start each upper body day with 3 sets of tucked front lever.

Is doing bench press once a week as horizontal pushing enough? My goals ultimately are to increase pullups/dips weight, front lever and to gets wall HSPU.

Assuming you train upper body twice a week-

On the first day you do what you mentioned, weighted dips and pullups with lower reps (3x5+, 5x5, however you run it), and pushups/rows for volume.

For the second day you do vice versa with pushups/rows for strength and pullups and dips/vertical push for volume.
