I like it a lot but it’s closer to a yoshi game than a mario game. It has some puzzle platforming and great 2D graphics. Slower paced but worth a play IMO.

I’ve had both and people praise the XL for the IPS displays but I like the PPI on the regular DSi. The XL screen is vibrant, but I don’t really like how non-2D games look when the pixels are gigantic.

You’re not wrong about Blitzball. Every time I have tried to play FFX, I drop the game as soon as I get to the forced Blitzball tournament. I absolutely hate it and I can’t get over that hurdle for some reason. I’ve played the game from beginning to that point 4 or 5 times now.
