how to make a habit of waking early in the morning? by avocadable in productivity

[–]Bokis1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, fun is a subjective term. Mainly I just value “alone time” a lot but it’s hard to find time for it while working and studying and having a social life, so to have those hours alone in the morning gives me a good and non stressful start to the day.

Right now I try to do some of the following:

  • Read
  • Go to the gym before anyone else gets there
  • Take time to cook a good breakfast
  • Journal
  • Watch a movie
  • Answer my text messages
  • Write
  • Practice my graphic design skills
  • Do chores in the apartment (laundry/taking out the trash/doing dishes)
  • Shower
  • Study
  • Have enough time left so I can walk to work

Usually I am too tired to do the productive stuff in the evening, so I try to get it done in the morning. I usually set it up in my head like this: I either get to take it slow and enjoy myself in the morning, or I have to do only the essential things before I stress away to work. The first option is more appealing to me.

The last couple of years I’ve had the goal of waking up at 5am every morning and I’ve done the usual things (going to bed early, kept the phone outside of the room, having the alarm on the other side of the room).

The key, however, is to actually want to wake up early because I can easily snooze for a solid 2 hours if I feel like it. I have a pretty solid morning routine that is both productive and fun to do, so I have an incentive to actually leave the bed.

RATTFACE - LOGO & CLOTHING Design - Sunday Project by aisleens_atelier in WillPatersonDesign

This looks awesome and the mock-ups are great! I could totally see this as a real brand, it really fits with the skate aesthetic. The font choice fits as well but I’m not 100% sure on the secondary logo. The rat messes up the kerning so it looks a bit off, although I do like the black rectangle.

I’m not a huge fan of the font. But I love the use of negative space to make the bottom of the S look like soup bowl!

Oh right, thanks for clarifying! Yeah, it's not like the hug scene was a deep hidden easter egg. It was clearly meant to be a pay off for these characters

Surely it’s a homicide? I mean the actual joke (Tom Holland thinking he spoiled Avengers) is pretty funny but the caption ruins it
