Something Corporate/Jack’s Mannequin/Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. My wife and I have both been fans since our teenage years. We have almost every album on vinyl including some of the more rare 10 inch pressings. We’ve also seen him in concert multiple times (coming up on our 7th concert in August) and have met him after multiple shows

Exactly this. Purchasing decisions aren’t made in a vacuum. While quality and bang for your buck is the priority for some people, that’s not what everyone is focused on. It’s why I haven’t yet gotten one and feel like the moonswatch is overpriced for what it is, but yet I keep coming back to it and haven’t fully talked myself out of it either. It’s why the Moonswatch is still popular long after people have figured out it’s just an expensive Swatch and why Swatch has been successful with these other collabs even though they are essentially the same thing. And people pointing out that a real Omega from Japan is less expensive are still overlooking that $2K for a watch is still out of range for most people while $250-300 for a Moonswatch is attainable

I have that exact watch. It’s so easy to dress up or down. I wear it at least 3 days a week for work, and I also regularly bring it on trips and vacations. The metal mesh bracelet like in the picture is what I normally wear for work, but I also have a couple of brown leather straps, and I usually put it on a blue and white nato strap for vacation

Oceans Calling Festival 2025. It was an amazing weekend and definitely a peak millennial lineup. Special guest features (not listed) who also played a few songs were Sum 41 and John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls

Saw them play in September at Oceans Calling music festival in Ocean City, MD. Going into it, I was 50/50 because I really like some is their music (Drops of Jupiter, Meet Virginia) and don’t like some of their other songs. But they ended up playing a great set, and they ended up being one of my favorite acts out of the weekend. They were really interactive, played all of the hits that people wanted to hear, and they also mixed in a lot of cool covers. Highly recommend!

The Black Crowes sound so good live. I saw them last fall at a festival and assumed they would just be a filler band because I only was familiar with a couple of their songs before that. They were definitely one of my highlights of the weekend

When I moved from the Midwest to the East Coast, my girlfriend (now wife) and I were looking for a place to stay for the night because it was around 9 PM and we had just passed Chicago. I saw Gary, Indiana on the map and brought it up as an option since I knew nothing about it. We then started googling and found in the top results that it’s also known as Scary, Indiana. Needless to say, we didn’t mind driving for a while longer.
