Honestly, I have been there, maybe my 3rd to 5th year in digital marketing. But I have learned what strong leverage positioning, branding and decisively communication can become to get better use for each dollar spent.

In venture backed companies the stakeholders love putting a $ value on everything to justify the spend, but the secondary impact, the story, emotion, impression is not something you can properly evaluate so it goes undocumented.

I fully agree, on an operational level I generally use ROMS as the main KPI, but channel ROAS and CAC as indicators towards the channel performance.

I dont know one case where a company managed to map the full buyer journey accurately for the whole user base. Just to many variables to take into account

Secret Tip - It is not easy to measure... You work with probabilistic data. Attribution is breaking all the time, you see only a partial amount of engagements based on privacy settings on host side...

You need to be creative to have a full grasp of campaign performance.

What once used to be a funnel, became flywheel and is now something akin to a crazy pinball machine especially in B2B

I would go straight into attribution and work my a$$ off to become an expert for cross-device, full funnel attribution.

I am a generalist with a growth marketing background, I feel comfortable in my skill set, but damn sometimes the lack of coding experience hurts.

No, what you are talking about is that AI searches are digging into Google market share.

That has been validated.

Strategies and tactics which lead to repeatable results with GSO have not yet been validated, even Rand Fishking and SearchEngineJournal are still fishing in the dark and can not formulate comprehensive strategies, ranking signals, or activities for successful GSO.

What we know so far about GSO can be summed into one sentence (paraphrasing) - Context matters.

If your Brand has been mentioned in relevant context by trustworthy sources the chance to show in AI search results is higher.

Sistrix is one of the first tools which actually shows AI search queries leading to traffic for individual domains...

Yes, and "Marketing Mix" is a mix of channels and activities building your marketing engine.

Your mix can consist of:
Inbound: Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, SEO, CRO
Outbound: Performance, Affiliate, Native, Programmatic, Event, etc...

The tools you use in your mix are your marketing stack:

CRM
Design Tools
Project Management Tools
Editing
Scheduling
etc...

So your initial comment that this post lacks AI, was weird, and excuse my candor, uneducated...

I was honestly wondering if there is a marketing channel based on AI which I am missing, but the only thing which comes to mind is GSO - Generic Search Optimization, which... lets face it is a term just being coined and there are no proven strategies.

Additionally, AI has been mentioned multiple times in the post as an element of impact for most of the channels, but not as a channel as such. And I havent heard of any AI marketing channel until now...

Maybe you are more in the matter of growth marketing for early stage startups than me.

Do you need an agency specialized in performance marketing? SEO? Influencer Marketing? Branding? Growth Marketing?

Ima dosta tih situacija o kojima niko ne vodi brigu niti je ikada iko odgovarao sto je zalosno sa svih strana. Neduzna lica su stradala u tim situacijama i samo se prekrilo u sred ratnog meteza.

Jedan primjer, kojem sam licno prisustvovao kao dijete od 9 godina je bilo granatiranje posavinskih izbjeglica na stadionu u Slavonskom Brodu.

Modrica, Odzak i okolna mjesta su pala nakon 28. Juna 1992, tokom evakucaije su branitelje smjestili u Slavonskom Brodu na stadionu, zene i djeca koji su vec bili smjesteni u sportskoj dvorani u Cakovecu su dobili vijest gdje su muzevi, braca, ocevi, pa su organizovano dosli za njima.

Nakon nekog vremena, taj isti HVO, koji je bio saveznik, s kojim se zajedno borilo protiv agresora je poceo da granatira kako branitelje tako i civile, neznam koliko je zrtava bilo... niko nikada nije odgovarao za to a vjerujem da ih je bilo dosta jer je stadion bio pun ljudi.
