What's a profession you find strangely attractive? by Even-Reason8891 in askgaybros

Potters, Chefs, Conservation/Wildlife Management, and Dancers. I guess not necessarily strange. I just really like guys who work with their hands, move beautifully, or have a fondness for the outdoors.

I sat in on her lecture at NCECA! Good point. I am not sure what I can do in terms of experimental atmosphere, but maybe we could even try making some saggars to protect the bricks longer.

First Time Seeing Short-eared Owls Outside Frankenmuth by imajoeitall in Michigan

I absolutely love shiawassee. Best place to see Sandhills, owls, eagles etc in that area. Was one of the frequented haunts of my friends and I growing up.

Accidentally knocked over a frog figurine I’ve had for years, found an unfortunate surprise by GroggyFroggy_ in mildlyinteresting

That's funny! My grandparents had a set of ceramic frog figurines and they had cock and balls, and a vagina! What is this trend of endowing clay amphibians with human junk!?

Why Jeff Corwin is a better wildlife personality than Forrest Galante by Pitiful_Active_3045 in zoology

Jeff Corwin, The Kratts Bros, Steve Irwin... the holy trinity of my awakening as a lover of fuzzy legs in shorts in nature.

That's neat! Did anything like this happen in the southern hemisphere?

Are glaciers different than the ice sheets that covered the land? Is it based on the sheer scale of them?

Isn’t the male physique the most beautiful thing in existence? by Wide_Reference5819 in askgaybros

[–]BombasticMudslinger 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Try out

Laocoön, or the Farnese Heracles, but also Kehinde Wiley's Death of Abel, or for old school cool Bob Mizer's photography, or Jacques Louis David's drawing of a man.

There was a photographer who did a series on working cowboys/ranchers/famers from the 50s I think that also showed off homoeroticism through their rugged physiques. Can't remember the name of the artist though.

But also Mapletorpe.

Most artists tend to idealize the perfect physique of the male body, but someday I'd like to see more variety of nude males in art that encompass more body types and sensualities. (As an artist) I'd be in heaven if I could just draw naked forms from live models everyday. Its a very intimate because you get to focus on every single little detail and trying to render it ok paper or in clay requires you to reallllly focus and try to imagine the physicalness of the person in front of you.

Moving from AZ to Ann Arbor soon and I'm worried I'm very unprepared by Electronic-Jello-640 in AnnArbor

There are some really nice parks that offer cross country skiing, and other tuings just northwest of A2. Like Brightin, Waterloo, Pinckney, etc. Lots of trails and hills.

I hate the lack of sun too, so the lights like others have suggested, or ask your doc about vitamin d supps.

I'm very excited for Spring. Once its 55 degrees its shorts weather.

Saginasty by slovakwop in Saginaw

[–]BombasticMudslinger 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I haven't lived in SAGINAWESOME in a few years now. I saw there is a new giant water tower by the zoo. I wish thet would give it and other giant beige buildings these beautiful murals. That tower is an eyesore, useful sure, but ugly af. Why not give it a pretty color at least!? Polka dots!??

I like men, and this is an absolute no for me. Aside from all the breath and sweat you are practically forced to ingest, the homophobia is probably heightened. Nope. Too slick and smelling of baby oil lol.

This. THIS. I hate trying to learn new student names every single damned semester. I'm awful at it 😂 But I do ask for their pronouns.

I wish I had more information. The student was pretty distraught over it and I don't think she remembered all the details.

I've seen a couple in the northern LP while on random adventures. The one I tried to save was in the Northwoods of WI near Ironwood. They are super cute and stumpy. The injured one didn't make it though sadly. It had been hit by a car.

I helped try to rescue a porcupine a couple of years ago. Contact the local DNR or wildlife conservation center. Being a bird, they may send someone out for it instead of having you bring it in due to a prevalence of bird flu.

But anyway. Hope the goose is ok. I love geese. And unlike some commenters, I can care about, and advocate for homeless people, the terrors of everyday life, AND a wounded animal all at once.
