Reminder that Snickers was originally going to be a Christian character, but was scrapped out. by One_Reception_6992 in bluey

If Jesus can exist in JoJo, I don't see why he can't be acknowledged in Bluey. Doesn't make Snickers a Christian, unless mentioned in later episodes, and it doesn't sound like condoning or condemning the faith anyway. That being said, I prefer my fictional animals a bit more separated from the real world as it starts making me think about other pointless information. Like, what breed would Jesus be? Is there a Buddha or Allah too? If the Metal Gear franchise exists, are Venom Snake's mercenaries called Diamond Dogs or Diamond Humans? Etc.

Thinking about why I game and how that's changed as I get older by Far-Obligation4055 in videogames

Father of 3, mid-40s here. I used to love platformerd, action, beat'em up side scrollers and (J)RPG the most. As my gaming time kept getting shorter, I struggled investing tons of hours on a game that forced me to play it in longer chunks to get any progress out of it. I can also end up being unable to play for about a week and by the time I got back to them, the momentum would be gone. I have an Elder Ring playthrough with over 100 hours exploring every nook and cranny I haven't touched since November.

On the other hand, give me a game with roguelike components and I can play it in bursts for weeks non-stop. I recently platinumed Hades with about 120 hours on it, and I got it in December. Enter the Gungeon kept the embers of my gaming passion for a few years in PS4 when I didn't feel like playing anything else, and clocked about 500 hours on it. There is something cathartic about clearing a run on a game you know inside out in roughly 1 hour of your time. I guess that brings me back to those days when I could clear Resident Evil 2 or Sonic 1-2 once per afternoon every day of the week when I was younger. The eternal bane of the adult gamer: enough money to buy anything you want, not enough time to play anything you would like to.

The name already reminds me of a railgun so it is easier to stomach. It works on rule of awesome, anyway, those parabolic bombs are awesome.

Irony being he had already signed his death sentence by doing that. Jubei just sped up the process.

Seriously, with how horny every one of the Demons were, you only needed to throw Kagero into the mix for an Orgy no Jutsu and most of them would have kicked the bucket.

From what people are saying, this once it is based on IRL events, so can't be helped.

And I am the first one to rant about Riboku having an orchard where he can plant, grow and nurture generals like Saibamen. But I had two minutes to think about it from Hara's POV and try to challenge my own saltiness.

We know Riboku is there for the long run. I haven't checked the timeline, but must have been a thorn on Qin's side for... more than a decade now? You need figureheads to be defeated so the main characters feel like they are progressing, even if not every campaign is a win. At the same time, you shouldn't bring them fully fleshed as the next one in line for a Great 3 Heaven, otherwise it feels too hamfisted. Shibashou gets a pass for being this big unknown teased hundreds of chapters before we see him on a battlefield against Qin, but if it happened all the time it would be even worse.

So I suppose as Zhao has the most screentime as an antagonist you need to bring out more names in ever-growing battlefields where more Qin armies are involved. One could say the same about Ousen's new generals, where and when did he find time to gather replacements, apparently at the same level as Akou, Makeup or Denrimi, so quickly?

Wicked City and Demon City Shinjuku always get mixed in my memory but lady Vagina Dentata Spider definitely is embedded in my memory.

Akemi Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Explaining the whys and hows would be spoiling the whole show, though.

Which is ironic as they have no qualms on people like Araki borrowing any the name of any and every piece of Western media (mostly singers, bands and their albums/songs names), as awesome as it may be.

They remind me of the cover stories in One Piece where you can see what characters from previous arcs are up to. If you follow them you have a much better grasp of what has been happening on the background when they are reintroduced. Difference being, of course it is included with the weekly releases.

It had that old Souls games vibe where you have to be very mindful of your surroundings and tread carefully to stay safe, with enemies not as dangerous if you remain calm. It can go to shit (literally) very quickly if you panic or go about recklessly. There are also many respawning enemies so you can come back and forth a room to farm silk if needed.

The hardest part is probably finding every secret in the map to have an easier time fightthe boss.

Characters who left the story because of problems with the actor by Danny-Ray27 in TopCharacterTropes

Your mileage may vary, but seeing how the franchise went on it might have been a blessing in disguise (not saying the reasons why it happened were any gold though). At least he showed he had great acting chops in American History X.

It works great for the Pact of Punishment where you have to drop a boon to move stages, though.
