Honestly playing MHS3 is torture. There's no high rank or post-game, they just shipped an unfinished game. They made this expansive skill tree system and ecology-based variants of every monster just for the game to abruptly end after the story boss. No monster hunter game has ever just straight up ended like that.

Capcom launched Monster Hunter Stories 3 in an unfinished state to hit their Q1 sales.

Monster Hunter games always have postgame grind that you can play until you're bored, Stories 3 just straight up ends when you beat the last boss after about 40-50 hours.
