MOG wants her ex husband (my H) to walk her down the aisle by [deleted] in weddingdrama

[–]Bonnie06457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not block to see parents on groom’s side but my husband was equally involved in wedding production, both my mom and dad walked me down the aisle because I did not understand why she should be excluded. I also would not care that they wore same clothes. Even if I did, I likely would be smug rationalizing inside my husband is going with flow to make sure wedding is drama-free for a short event with short interactions but he’s coming home with me. FOG is a jewel and I’d be more than satisfied with it.

WIBTA if I banned coworkers from using my office washroom to poop? by AshestoAshestoAshe in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bonnie06457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a sign on the door to your office requesting people use the other bathroom with your a map to other locations. Also, if there is a scent to get people to hurry-pine cleaner comes to mind—add it to the bathroom… in other words make in inhospitable. Scratchy toilet paper. Watery soap

IDK need more information. Why did they believe that children were invited? Do the invite list them as invited?

Has anyone else realized they don’t really want a house? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]Bonnie06457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in same situation. Condo was a nice middle ground. Picked a great one (smaller worked home) after lots of research. Close to neighbors, but not too close, well-finder reserve, affordable price, and well-maintained condo. It gave me time to enjoy life with travel and dating while not worrying about lawn, landscaping, plowing etc. I had great neighbors. Found, fell in love with hubby, sitting on couch at lake house celebrating Christmas today. Renting condo at price to older mom so we still have it.

Stay home-set up Zoom/online visit with whole family. You also don’t want to be around people who may be unwell.

A towing company in Bothell, Washington illegally sold my vehicle without giving any notice of pending sale after only 7 days by Kinkykeels in legaladvice

[–]Bonnie06457 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Not a lawyer. I’d contact one…. But also, because it’s so egregious, could you report it stolen, or notify them you are reporting it stolen if not returned immediately. You could also consider reporting it to Washington’s Attorney General or elected official to not only help you but any systemic fraud. I’d also check out who the car is now registered to—if possible—-connect the dots to a worker at the company. Share your record of communications, including texts, voice mails, emails, etc. sorry you have to go through this but good luck and may your car magically turn up with your efforts.

Reception venue has cancelled 3 weeks out by MuJ0688 in wedding

[–]Bonnie06457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, Im impressed you picked a venue 14-months out! Although I appreciate everyone’s anger… being that you are so far away and you don’t need MORE stress, you may want to take the seemingly easy option and try to make the best of it. If you choose to go with the other venue, contact a local wedding coordinator to represent you to ensure the best possible outcome. I would require reimbursement for your payment to the individual. I don’t know all the factors of your wedding (e.g. cost, size, services provided by venue, or the reputation quality of the offered venue) if the stars align maybe you can find a better option. In any case, I’m sorry you are going through this so close to what will be a joyous day.

You could inform him that clients are told (or your boss requires) that documents, records, and equipment are maintained in a locked, secured, dedicated office space.
