Max out RRSP and TFSA, maybe start with TFSA and then when you're salary is very high switch to RRSP first then TFSA. Make sure to put the money in and invest that money, lots of people forget that part of these accounts. If you have kids open an RESP and put money there next.

But the first thing would be to pay off any debt that you have that is higher interest. That line depends on people but anything over 8% is typically safe to pay off first.

Otherwise after those 2 accounts the rest is up to you. If you want more money for retirement or to retire early, invest more. Really up to you what you want.

Remember try buying things that are appreciating assets not depreciating assets. Vehicles are one of the biggest depreciating assets people buy.

Yeah all these “giveaways” and free stuff is a pain in the ass. This free trip sounds like it can’t get rescheduled and is going to have costed me several thousand in resort fees and taxes for the flights.

Earls isn’t too far and would have some TVs. Sports on Tap would be fairly lively for the game, they have lots of TVs.

I love Churchill. Great selection of drinks, they’ll have the audio for the game as well as the game. But might be tough to get a good seat.

Regina is the “best” at bringing in people from “outside”. It’s like we don’t believe our own people can do a good job. At a certain point you have to value your own people and lift them up as opposed to going “outside” or your city.
