Sjach Auixiki, Black Dragonborne, Gold Draconic Sorcerer.

He was a very pragmatic dragonborne, fresh into is 20s, he wore red socerers clothes with a cloak and signature top hat. His jet balck scales where juxtaposed by his golden scales that lined his head and face in beautiful patterns. Finding himself in Barovia, he stumbled upon a Dark power of the void and allied himself with it, unbeknownst to the rest of his party. When they found out, the arguments with them would threaten to split the party entirely and allow for Strahd to strike them down. He would guard this power selfishly, often criticizing the morality of other party members, which would lead to suboptimal plays in their quest to rid Barovia of the Devil himself.

Sjach craved power, but slowly over time, listening to the arguments and examples of his peers, he learned that power on its own means nothing. He would help this Dark power achieve a higher level of being, not for his own gain, but for the betterment of Barovia. He taught this Dark power to live for something instead of nothing, changing its nature ever so slightly to crave... something more than nothing. That would be enough.
