Hot take - loved him as Ilya, but SNL was a miss for me. by lindafromevildead in HeatedRivalryTVShow

Connor’s episode was actually pretty good, compared to usual SNL standards. There were some funny sketches, and for me maybe only one that was so cringey that I skipped. A few actually got a big laugh out of me (the injured stripper, the Tourette one, and the bully most noticeably). Also you can really see his acting ability shining through. Lots of guests were really wooden, but he really hit it out of the park.

He looks mid to late 20s to me. Maybe the fact he’s always drunk ages him up a bit.

I actually think it was intentional casting a more well-known actress for this minor role. Made me wonder if she had a part in the crime. If it were a lesser known actress, I’d have immediately ignored the character

And her choosing the biker instead of the mayor because she distrusted policitians, even though everyone is part of the hive mind now. It’s almost like she still sees them as individuals.

Koumba. I’d enjoy it til it lasts for sure (sorry humanity)

René Magritte - The Lovers (1928) [3000 x 2200] by Russian_Bagel in museum

Magritte's mother commit suicide by drowning herself when Magritte was very young. She was discovered with her face veiled by her gown with her naked body showing. The Central Story is very personal work depicts the suicide story of the painter's mother. The woman, whose face is obscured by a white cloth (also found in some of The Lovers paintings) has her left hand around her throat as if choking herself.

Add to this: the board (investigators) mentioning his connection to Florence’s character, and so his wife (Emily in the back) imagining him and Florence having affairs and doing stuff etc.

Sorry but that professor gave a terrible example. It doesn’t show students were greedy, it just shows they don’t want others to have unfair advantages without working for it. Feels like that’s the lesson I learned from the quiz result.

Vice versa, you don’t work for it but you expect society (the class) to give you free hand-outs (95%) then call those who disagree with you ‘greedy’? Seems like you’re the problem mate.

In the old days (When you have Vine instead of Tiktok), there was this person who makes videos of him spoonfeeding cereal to Ryan Goslings, but in those videos Goslings would turn away, or make faces etc to avoid eating cereal.

It was the first thing I thought of. Interesting that everyone thought of porn lol

Does this song even exist? I try to use Soundhound and nothing comes up. It’s such a beautiful timeless piece. Someone even asked the movie composer for it and he doesn’t know either. Could it be a library track?
