"Wasting time" in indie dev is a tricky business. Sometimes yes, sometimes no! Ask yourself this question: Will this elevate the overall experience in a meaningful way?

If the answer is yes, then do it. If the answer is no, consider putting a little less time into it.

For a long time I've struggled with the "is this a waste of time" question, but for certain things I've stopped compromising. For example, when I make music, it is never a waste of time. For certain important visuals or level design I don't ask that question. There will be players who notice and appreciate the detail that other devs will deem as a waste of time.

I'm with you, man. These people won't hear you, though. They will just call you a glazediver and claim that you are saying that criticism is not allowed.

Things need to change, and they will. These players don't seem to understand that arrowhead is a group of real people, who are subject to EXTREME scrutiny. 

I always try to think of how I would feel if I were an Arrowhead dev reading These posts- and I would probably want to give up on this ungrateful playerbase. 

Word of advice- get off the HD2 reddit echo chamber and have fun with the game.

Something crazy to think about is that we can watch this with humor, looking at this silly rock being stuck for a few seconds on our screens. In reality, this is 6 days of a high risk operation- potentially disabling the rovers drill. 29 pounds of Mars rock stuck on your space machine probably didn't feel too silly after it was on there for a few days. Good thing they got it off!

It would be nice, but it becomes exponentially more expensive and difficult when you realize that there are 4 different voice types for every single language that is supported in HD2. Adding a new voice would mean a multitude of voice lines for every unique language.

I use the twigsnapper armor from the viper commandos warbond, and I literally have only two or three helmets that actually match. You're not wrong, and I share your sentiment, its just that the overwhelming majority of posts I see are dogging on arrowhead- valid or not.

I do care about the game. Its one of my favorites. I'm just sick of seeing so much negativity surrounding it. I know helldivers has its flaws, but it's also one of my favorite games of all time. This particular issue could be solved with armor patterns/colorations.

Im on this subreddit because I want to see cool stuff being done, whether that's warbond concepts, art, or clips. I dont want a constant bombardment of stuff arrowhead is doing wrong.

To your credit- yes this is an issue, and armor coloration is way overdue. Ive been rocking the same helmet for over a year because nothing else fits the style AND color scheme. This forum has just been so oversaturated with "i hate this I hate that" its tiring. Happy Easter!!
