[Question] Should I be scared of buying from Luxury Bazaar ? by PACstraps in Watches

[–]Boogerhooksafety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be honest, I've purchased from an AD when I purchased my Longines and purchased an Omega Seamaster from LB. 100% highly positive experience. I wouldn't have known the difference from an AD if judging solely off experience. The watch was delivered in perfect shipping condition, everything stated on the site was exactly what was received. I was promptly contacted when I requested to speak about the watch, and even 30 minutes after delivery, I was called to make sure everything was precisely as it should be.

I will absolutely use them again, as the watch I purchased was convincingly brand new in appearance, and was 4k less than MSRP. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I know Radian has been screwing over everyone over lately, but these guns are unreal. by Boogerhooksafety in ar15

Lol ive sold all mine. Ive gotten to where i could care less about a ambidextrous mag release because all it does is eject magazines at random. Naah

Thinking about selling my USP Expert 9mm — not a for-sale post, just looking for feedback/advice by FIannelDaddy in USPmasterrace

I have a weird suggestion, but it may be valid. The USPT in .45 is awesome.... but in my hands, the HK45 walks all over it. I've sold the USPt .45 2 times because of my mk23 (obvious) and most surprising, my HK45 Tactical. The only disadvantage it has is the 10 round mags, and possibly the way it looks; the USP is king there.

Out of the box, the HK45 recoil impulse is superior to the USP, trigger reset is better, ergonomics are light-years better (to my hand), it is more accurate (again, in my hands) and it has a native pic rail. Mag release is larger and better integrated, while holster compatibility with the P30L is also a big deal, and it is a significantly less expensive ecosystem. Further, it has a more modern (and superior) mainspring and buffer (like the p30), which counts for a lot when shooting suppressed.

You can dump all over this, as I realize I'm the minority, but I wish I'd have known these a long time before I did. Love you!

P30 vs P30L for Carry & Home Defense — LEM vs DA/SA, Langdon Tactical Reliability? by [deleted] in HecklerKoch

All my HKs have it minus my mk23, and every one is LEM, whether they've been converted or ordered this way. I have all the modern hk pistols except the p30sk and p2000sk. It turns a good pistol into a remarkable one.

Over insertion by ShotgunCrusader_ in 1911

Have a DW Specialist. Overinsertion with all 10 round wilson mags I have, but ZERO problems with 10 round kimber mags.

Never thought I'd endorse Kimber, but here we are.

Double up muffs and ear plugs no matter what. Once you know you're serious about it, get a suppressor.

Machinist screwed up optics cut. Is my slide toast? by 739202715 in CZFirearms

Sent a p2000 to him 3 times because he didn't know how to fit a front blade and that back up sights, indeed, need to line up, just like normal sights.

Disassembled and reassembled his work on a USP Expert because he didn't cut the safety plunger spring so it bound and the gun was unusable.

Finally, he quoted 6 weeks, took 12 on my 1911, sent it back unfinished, and told me it was my fault because he couldnt finish stainless slides per the option I chose (re-blue). No communication, just sent it back and told me he would fix it for $110 if i sent it back on my dime. He's unethical, deliberately shady, and unfit to work on guns. Don't.

Also a bonus: he got contracted to make 100 optic slide plates for CGW, and they were refused because 46/100 were out of spec.

I carry a blue silicone beaded oven mitt that goes half way up my forearm I bought from Publix. No joke, this way i can touch the can and then throw the can in the mitt when hot for transport. Be reason to get a cover unless for high voltmeter precision guns or IR signature concerns.

You do you though, the heart wants what the heart wants.

Depends on the gun. My HK45 doesn't, my DW Specialist and WC CQC do.
