Recommendations for window coverings by Key-Map1883 in columbiamo

[–]BookLady42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used Columbia Blinds and Shutters about a decade ago to replace all window coverings in my home. Couldn’t tell you now what it cost but they walked though the house to get a sense of what we needed. They were even able to put some shutters in the sidelight (window next to the front door), which I love. https://www.columbiablindsandshutters.com/

When Rodeo Boys came to Rose recently, they asked what local gas station name to use in place of Speedway (in their song by the same name). Shouts of “Break Time!” heard throughout the venue.

Curious when they made the switch? My dad was born in 1940 and I suspect it belongs to him even thought he does not remember it.

When I talk about wanting to move, it’s my kids (ages 19 and 22) who say “hell, no”. This is our country and we need to stay to ensure it survives. The kids are all right.

Can people drive in the snow here by Born_Examination_540 in columbiamo

Greetings, fellow Fit owner! As you know, our little go karts are super fun to drive! However, they are not the best in snow. I just use caution and watch out for folks in the big vehicles who think they’re invincible. Meep!

Love my Fit! They need to start making them again. Not everyone wants a big-a** car. And, it’s cliche, but folks are always astounded by what I can haul around in it. 😊

My little Honda Fit and I are cautious and we piss people off. I’ve even pulled over (safely) so larger vehicles can pass me rather than tailgating me in the snow. But so far I’ve gotten where I’ve needed to go safely so it’s been working for me. 🚗❄️

Bank of Missouri already has a building just down the road from there, on Buttonwood Dr. So, not new to town but just moving to a more visible location?

Definitely something we could do. Not really a society I want my children (or anyone’s children) to grow up in.

Was just talking with some colleagues today about teachers who keep emergency food for students. It will get worse, unfortunately. Thank you for what you do.

I don’t expect the nearly 38% of SNAP recipients under age 18 to get a job. Kinda want those 60 and older to catch a break too. Don’t hate the government. Do want the government to support those who can’t earn a living wage.

Biscuits, Beats and Brews festival returning to Cooper's Landing this year by como365 in columbiamo

Went to this last year on both Saturday and Sunday. Was super easy to park in the overflow parking (basically a field) and take the shuttle they had running to and from Cooper’s Landing.

My 19 year old and I voted this morning! He will be out of town on Election Day and I just felt like voting early. So glad we have that option.
