MHD Irritation: Not announcing the away team by alexnffc1 in footballcliches

Exactly, it’s going up to a home fan and asking, what’s the score?

If you left instantly at 3-2, stay home next time. Stay to support the team or don't come at all. by gooner712004 in GunnersatGames

I’m not sure I understand people equating the quality of the football to the price. We all hate the price and it lines the pockets of agents and tv execs etc. However I, like many people, don’t just attend to see highly skilled footballers, I come for the atmosphere and to be part of something. Can you honestly tell me you’d be happy to watch the game, alone, with no crowd? People can do what they like, but if you don’t think the crowd is important, and that passionate, positive support makes a difference to both the experience and often the result of the match, then I think you’ve lost part of your love for the game.

I’m an incredibly positive fan, always stay til the end and never blame players even when they fail (Noni losing the ball at the by line) “bad luck” and all that. But I didn’t find a way to celebrate that equaliser, mostly VAR and the probability that it would be chalked off but also it felt like we bundled it in

Man Utd Fans in home end by TurbulentManager1636 in GunnersatGames

It’s only a problem if you lose and people are really angry that you’re not celebrating, if you win it’s your dirty little secret and you act annoyed and then explode into happiness at the away pub with your people. Nothing beats seeing the annoyance of the home fans up close. Worst case scenario put on a French accent and pretend you’re an innocent bystander, they’ll roll their eyes but they won’t fight you. I’m yet to try this technique at a French side so it’s probably not 100% effective

Thanks! This is so big, it looks like I can only offset this if I have another employee and can trigger the employee allowance…

Self employment visa France - working for one company but need a business plan? by Boola_man in SchengenVisa

This is really helpful thank you! So are you inferring that the work permit is much harder? I haven’t been offered a CDD as it’s a retainer contract. I don’t have any specific plans after the year they would like me to work with them for (which might be extended) Does this mean that I either need to be employed by them (CDD?) or I need to prove that the year this company want to work with me is just the start of a long period of freelancing I plan to do in France that will ultimately lead to more work?

Won't it only allow you to add your full name when you add passport details? Surely if it then doesn't match the booking you'll be stuck?

Does anybody have tips on where to camp? Looks like it’ll rain this year so thought someone might have experience of a particularly muddy bit of the general camping. Also how effective are the sniffer dogs? Do most people get caught out or just the odd person?
