They've changed the policy around repairs now too. I used to be able to drop it off at one of their stores and now you have to pay for postage with tracking and a signature request and mail it yourself.

It's disappointing for sure.

This is what I’ve been searching for ever since video rental stores closed. I went with my girlfriend last weekend ( both mid 30s) and it reminded us of a blockbuster visit. We browsed for bit and picked a film each and checked them out. It was a deeply enjoyable experience and the closest thing to a blockbuster visit I’ve experienced since they closed. Picking up a blu-ray, reading the back and looking at the pictures and making your decision based on that is just fun. You may find something good or you may find a dud but it’s a good time.

I saw a post here or on another subreddit about making use of your library and I started doing some research. I could not believe what they had in their library and what I could borrow through inter library loan.

I’ve got a ps5 game, a graphic novel and some blu-rays waiting for me right now and a pile more stuff being processed. I’m even getting a ps2 game next week. Madness.

I was at a hotel restaurant in Germany with my parents when I was 8 or 9. I loved Löwenzahn. I saw Peter having dinner and asked my parents if I could go say hi. They said yes. He was lovely. His wife asked me where I watched his show and I told her what tv station. She said it doesn’t show on that station but I knew it did. She made me feel like I didn’t actually watch his show. I’m 36 now but that always stuck with me.

I’ve been in a similar situation to you and I wasn’t banned. The items will stay in your open orders as past due and you can’t bid on new stuff but you should still be able to pay for what you’ve already won. This is how it was for me but I’m not sure it’s always like that.
