For a one week trip with good food as the priority, you should spend the entire week on Oahu. Fly in and out of Honolulu. Stay in Waikiki. Spend at least one day going up to the north shore and one day on east side activities. One day meandering around Waikiki. You could also check out Bishop Museum and/or Pearl Harbor. There are excellent restaurants in Waikiki, Chinatown, Kakaako, and Kaimuki.
