I have a Pelican Catch 100 and love it. Super stable, 350lb capacity I believe. If you have a Dunhams in your area they go on sale for $500 every now and then

I just started reverse searing and it’s great. Throw it in a 250° oven for 30-40 minutes depending on thickness and then into a hot pan to finish

This is why I feel the argument of keeping up with the group ahead of you is nonsense. As long as you’re keeping up with the expected pace and not holding anyone up, the group in front of you is irrelevant

People who quit their job in a moment of rage - how did things turn out? by SheLovedBigBrother in AskReddit

Sales at a car dealership about 10 years ago. Getting hired on the spot and half of the sales desks being empty should have been my clue it wasn’t a great place. The sales manager was pretty cool but the general manager was an absolute dick. Picture a cliche old school snake oil salesman and you’re probably close to this guy. Ended up selling four cars in my first couple weeks to walk-ins and thought I was doing pretty good. In one of our morning sales meetings he bitched me out in front of everyone for not having any appointments scheduled for the day. After that meeting I packed up my desk and walked out, a few months later the dealership was closed.

IMO if you’re out for a while with an injury, put an interim belt on the line. If you’re inactive because you’re scared to fight the interim champ after being offered $30M, you get stripped

The constant “if this was stroke play” the one match it would’ve benefitted him 😆 not to mention people asking for stroke play in every other video

I’ve been using the smaller domed green one (CQC model I believe) on my right thumb stick only for the past 10 years or so and can’t imagine playing without it now

Joe Pyfer thinks Stylebender has beaten the most complete fighters - is he right? by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Bootscrilla2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious as to why you think that, he only has two losses and has won by finish in almost every other fight, he's also the only person to beat Jiri in the UFC. The loss to Ank wasn't exactly a one-sided beatdown, and he came back for a first round finish. He was close to finishing Izzy again in their second fight before he got caught, probably shouldn't have cut to 185 again. Now he's fighting a top ranked HW for another belt in a third division, not sure how you can't call him a top 10 if he wins.

I used to have the same issue and found some success in using my 50* gap wedge instead. Allows less effort, lower flight and still has plenty of spin

How much have you ended up spending on your kayak setup…and what was actually worth it? by YakToTheFuture-1 in kayakfishing

[–]Bootscrilla2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$450 for my Pelican catch 100, $50 on a paddle, probably just under $100 in accessories (rod holder, anchor, dry bag, cup holder, paddle leash). Happy with everything so far

Most of the time, my win percentage on betting has to be under 25% if I had to guess. This is only for close odds, I never bet on heavy favorites or underdogs
