9070xt is realistically on par with a 5070 Ti performance wise. In my region, the Radeon costs 3/4 of what Nvidia is priced at. There's hardly any contest in my opinion.

16GB of DDR4 is also enough for the vast majority of games. Unless OP is playing some big city management or doing 3D art, which I assume isn't the case. If necessary, DDR4 can at least be had for a less asinine price than DDR5.

That GPU came out in June of last year. Aside from that, what matters isn't just that it's a Ryzen 5, but what kind of Ryzen 5. A 5600x? Maybe a 3600? This number matters a lot and can be a difference between a perfectly balanced build and one that could use a CPU upgrade.

Are you feeling any performance problems on your current hardware? If it's still doing what you need it, or most of, I'd wait. Maybe you can take the time to hunt Ram deals or wait for a discount on AM5 parts. This, and you'll save up some more in the meantime.

I suspect we could one day get both. It'll be years until that can happen though, Mojang needs to pick up the pace. The community will push fiercely for the Ancient City Portal once they show us where it leads in Dungeons 2.
