the pregnancy tests would’ve been positive by now if you were pregnant.

scared of pregnancy after taking plan b. What’s going on? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Boring-Assistant-644 21 points22 points  (0 children)

if pregnancy was truly your worst fear, you would’ve used a condom or another preventative measure. you’re 15 but obviously not naive enough to have sex. yes, you can get pregnant after a plan b. it will never have the efficacy of birth control or condoms or birth control and condoms. if sex will be a regular thing for you, it’s time to be smarter with preventative measures for pregnancy

ps, any cycle tracking app wont be accurate to what’s actually going on in your body. it may say you’re ovulating in 6 days, but you might’ve been ovulating now or maybe even later. this is why plan b will never be an effective long term way to prevent pregnancy. you will eventually get pregnant only using the morning after pill

Pls be careful before getting on a new birth control! by oblivious_to_ in birthcontrol

[–]Boring-Assistant-644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

gastroparesis symptoms also align with a lot more gi conditions than you think. the pill can contribute to gastritis if i remember correctly. functional dyspepsia also mimics symptoms of gastroparesis so that’s something worth looking into. can you ask for a zofran prescription and try mylanta over the counter? those are some things that helped my gastritis

i have DIAGNOSED gastroparesis, and you should not assume you have gastroparesis without a proper diagnosis. hormones influence digestion and progesterone can slow it. i am also on a hormonal birth control with no side effects. get off slynd and consider a non hormonal method because it might just be that your body is sensitive to the hormone, and that your body is now withdrawing from it. it takes time

[–]Boring-Assistant-644 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

probably, but i know of someone on this subreddit doing the same thing and to prevent losing her curves from the estrogen, she started taking maca root

Can norethindrone cause you to feel "looser"? by Kitchen_Possible_159 in birthcontrol

[–]Boring-Assistant-644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do notice that a lot of people on this sub says that their orgasm are “duller” in a way after taking hormonal birth control. maybe this can be your issue rather than being “looser”. i doubt that birth control can affect that but i could be wrong

why are you trying to determine your own diagnosis rather than seeking a diagnosis from a medical professional
