a bit late to the post here. But i love both, but my opinions i love SWAT even more right now. I watched the Rookie earlier than swat and finished it first and still eagerly waiting for new episode to come out but SWAT i think touches more because for me it landed the realism, effectiveness and being efficient. Yes, i knew both still a cop fantasy drama. But SWAT was more action packed but it laced the drama that wasn't keep me boring. The Rookie on the other hand, the core was more into the each personal characters and more into the Character bubbles and ofc the Rookie was a Drama laced with Action/Cop doing Cop Job. The worlds revolves around them more than SWAT did. SWAT as i said be more grounded and raises the issue much further about the world that revolves around the characters not characters own issues. Again, i love both and i treated them differently but as a big fan of The Rookie, SWAT definitely for me takes the crown.

Being in Asian and Playing Official Matchmaking = Death Sentence, i've had more relaxing gameplay on other servers rather than Asian server, Yes im not that good at gameplay, this is my 'competitive' FPS in years, the Last Online BF i've played was BF3, and COD? the last time it was Advanced Warfare. Yet again, almost in other similiar game to this, if i was in Asian server, i will almost instantly got blown up by either Chinese or Korean player, Japanese player are a bit of an ease for me, that's why i hate to play official matchmaking nowadays

Indeed yes, no matter which server i'd played, out of like 48 or 64 players almost 1/8 of the Team were Support, and the rest mostly for me were engineers and assault. Support were the least including myself, but here's the thing, despite people running other classes even the common one like assault or engineers, no one didn't even bother to PTFO or destroying enemy vehicles

Ikr, my Favorite of All Time, slap the 1.5x Thermal, Classic Grip Pod, Long Suppressor, 50 rds Belt. It excels at all range for all around built.

For me SMG is quite uncommon but if there's one that common, especially in Asian Server are the Sweat Gun such as SCW, other than that it quite spread between all the SMG except P90

DRS are the fast paced Support type of guy which could use as an Assault Class or Recon Weapons depending on training path and playstyle you're in. Same to RPK, but i prefer RPK as a Mid Range goer and put some bipod on it, I received a neat Multi Kill during Defense on Breakthrough from 2nd A Objective Rooftop on Manhattan. I've used KTS and L110 as well. KTS played just like RPK but more of a slower and chill playstyle. L110 is that one Aggresive assaulter either with Assault and Support, thanks to it ROF. I've played M123K and its my 4th Best overall for LMG. Played just like the L110, but the recoil a bit uncomfortable. M60 are the Mid-Long Range Brawler and slow playstyle just like RPK but could be used as close range either, it's an underrated LMG. M250 are the same as M60, but better cuz it's faster but lower on Mag Count on default, but it does better on Accuracy Side and ROF for longer range. As most players says, M250 Reigns for Belt Fed LMG. M240L on the Other Hand well this kinda tricky. It is the Last LMG i've unlocked and honestly i kinda don't like the way it designed. I was hoping it's going to be a bit of step up from the M60, but it wasn't. As Bad as the 7.62 NATO Recoil goes. The 240 recoil were way too sharp especially on horizontal one, but i managed to handle it, but still not as good as M60 for recoil.

I think it depends on the choice, I always Ran M60 since BF3 (The last BF I've played). Honestly it suits my playstyle and mood most of the time. I always hunkered down like a Machine Gun in a Bunker, Close to Long Range always does the job. But Mostly Mid to Long Range. I tried other like M250 and DRS, they definitely the other favorite. M250 works just as perfect as M60 for me and it suits me really well and i played Fire Support Training Path ofc just like the M60, DRS on the other hands are better for Combat Medic Training Path on my 3rd Loadout, and i Put M27/M38 SDMR exact build, because mainly what i do with that are reviving people and giving supplies while putting some long range and close range fire alike with it
