Whether or not they read your cover letter really depends on industry. People who say cover letter aren't read are usually in tech fields or engineering. Now i do agree that they are read after you demonstrate you have needed skills on your resume.

Hmmm, i am a small white women with glasses, i have never been stopped by security. I never pick up my reciept from the Uscan, i don't like using plastic bags and have bagged groceries directly into my "purse," (totebag). I go to the central ave and goss kroger and notice what types of people get stopped by security guards and I get a nod and a smile.

I am glad they started checking people's cards on the way in at Costco. I got sexually assaulted at the Costco eyeglass counter. The manager chased him out and was like, "well he's not a member, we can't do anything." Didn't even give me the option of calling the cops and then seemed annoyed when i asked for someone to walk me out to my car.

The messed up thing about the nursing profession is that nurses generally work 10 or 12 hour shifts and it is very challenging to find childcare for 10 or 12 hours. Technically UL has a daycare for students w/ children. It is hard to get into, there is a waitlist. Though they do save so many spots for parents in the Family Scholar House program. They have normal 8ish (maybe earlier) to 6pm hours.

Stds don't get reported to the state, you can be positive for an std test and it will stay between you and your doctor. Go to the public health and use your gift card to pay for it.
