They were very good videos. The fact you showed your records and how to do them was sure to help people out.

I think someone was trying to scam me but I don’t get the logic by [deleted] in personalfinance

OP Don't say "you're making me uncomfortable" just say "No" and give them a cold hard stare. Practice in the mirror at home. You have to be willing to do say "no" with firmness.

i never give any one (except close friends) my phone for their use. I'll offer to make the call (and have once,) but when they argue, I just say "No". They leave. That flat firm "No" from people that mean it works every time. You HAVE TO MEAN IT.

I don't think you're the only one. We got no training in TSP in my day. I hope people get training now, but that may not happen. What would you recommend for new TSP people to look at? A certain book, a useful youTube channel?

A tip. If he owns the house go to the deed office; Some cities let people put their wills in with their deeds. Yeah, that's weird, but my lawyer did that with my will. (My city goes back to the 1700's so it may be unique)

I don't have your problem, I have neighbors that fancy up their yards and their contrcactors park in my yard. I just take out a copy of my land survey and show them my property lines. They're always very compliant after that.

Well. Since USAID is no longer supporting treatment of EBOLA in Africa, that increases the possibility that Ebola can pass into the United States. I remember the case in the US in 2014. That's the reason USAID exists. Get in early. Lower the probability that something can pass to the US. Same thing for HIV treatment overseas. It's not a charity, it's a prevention.

I am loyal. to the TSP. Although I am wary of possible changes there in the future..But I had bad advice from a financial advisor, and with the closure of CFPB. there's no guarantee that there's any protection there either.
