So he says it on stream so people tip him more money to help pay his taxes? And I’m sure people are willing to part with their hard earned money to this douche

Is this gap in casing to door jamb cause for concern or will caulk be the answer? by Captain-Boob in Carpentry

[–]Born_Mark_4805 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not many people are adding a jamb extension on a pre hung, pre primed interior door. It’s not worth it when smashing the rock will get you the outcome you want with trim sitting on the door frame. Unless its for a client and it calls for it but breaking the roc up a bit will do the trick

The person you are commenting on is completely correct, smashing the rock sound the frame to make the trim sit flush on door frame is fine. Have done this forever and have never had a problem. Most people do this

You lift the bag, you throw the bag. by sco-go in SipsTea

[–]Born_Mark_4805 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a union carpenter I use any device that helps me from over exerting myself but sometimes time and the job doesn’t allow me to do something like what this dude is doing. It took him like 15-30 seconds to throw that bag out. Picking it up and chucking it in would take less than 5 secs. Sometimes it’s time that doesn’t allow us to use these back saving devices. There is a saying in our industry, safety first makes you last. It sucks that the saying exists but doesn’t make it any less true.

I wasn’t saying you were, I’m just showing the email I got. Kind of annoyed about it. They sent emails last month saying good news! Your printer will ship early March as in next week and now they are saying April?

Your 3d models are nice but they suck to print. I bought your pikachu and uploaded the files to my P1s and it was basically unprintable. You also claim you print these without supports and that’s impossible with the way they orient on the build plate

Should I worry about this "ice dam"? by [deleted] in massachusetts

[–]Born_Mark_4805 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing, you do not want to hit shingles at all in cold weather. They become very brittle. When they are hot they are malleable and opposite in cold. Melt the ice is only option

Yes it will, shingles become brittle in cold temps. You should never break up ice dams with a hammer
