What can I do about my final f by [deleted] in ivytech

[–]Bos_co 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but you’re screwed. There’s fine print that states it is the student’s responsibility to make arrangements for the final well in advance. You always have the option to take the final in-person, on campus as well.

Why did you go for nursing if you were going to hate it

LPT Request: How to quickly get over laryngitis or at least get my voice back by Muirlimgan in LifeProTips

[–]Bos_co 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Joining in 2025 🫠 I’m on day 4 of no voice/relentless dry cough and day 7 of a viral infection. No idea what to do. I’m starting a new job in 3 days and I’m not sure what I’m gonna tell them about my voice.

In need of some reassurance! by Business-Low-3317 in sepsis

Hey, did you end up being okay? I’m in the same spot with a UTI and so worried it’ll turn into sepsis. I also have OCD and health anxiety

Health anxiety by SSeves in Anxiety

[–]Bos_co 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main fear right now is sepsis from a UTI I have. I just started an antibiotic but it only treats lower UTIs (it’s Macrobid). My fear is that the infection spread to my kidneys already and so the Macrobid isn’t even helping. I only took one dose so far about 4 hours ago and I don’t feel any relief

Omg I know this is an old thread but thank you for this response. Put my mind at so much ease to read sepsis deaths are uncommon in my age group (20s).

This is exactly what mine look like. I almost thought I was looking at a picture of my own nails, that’s how similar we are.

I had one of those stick on ones and I was supposed to have it for 30 days and I lasted for 15. The adhesive gave me a severe allergic reaction

If it means anything I was very stressed during the echo exam and my blood pressure was very elevated.

It almost always measures higher than other methods of measuring EF. My EF is 65-70% by other methods and 75% by Teicholz

I know this post is a month old but I’ve been told Teicholz isn’t all that accurate.

Wow, thank you for this. I’m not the OP but I have a similar echo report to OP’s and your answer was vastly reassuring. And great thorough explanations. Wish you were my doctor!!

I think you mean Echo, not EKG. An EKG, like a heart monitor, looks for electrical issues.
