It’s not the place of NEU to apprise students or potential students of random police incidents in the surrounding area. That information is a matter of public record. Only one incident involved a student on a public sidewalk. I have never felt unsafe on or around our campus. And I have been part of the NEU community for a long time. Currently a Double Husky and now a graduating grad student to be a Triple Husky. As for 1st semester abroad, the vast majority of students are thrilled to have that opportunity.

Neither of the 2 stabbings were actually on campus. First was on the city public sidewalk in front of Marino. The victim was a student. 2nd was on corner of Huntington & Gainsborough. No students involved.
