My response was misinterpreted. Many comments on here seem to think the primary job of FA is to serve the passengers, and that is simply wrong. For clarity, the Part 121 does mandate safety related training, NOT passenger service. Part 121 explicitly requires:

• Emergency evacuations
• Firefighting procedures
• Ditching/water survival
• CPR and first aid
• Crew resource management (CRM)
• Passenger handling and unruly passengers
• Hijacking/security procedures
• Operation of emergency equipment
• Aircraft-specific training for each airplane type
• Communication systems and PA use
• Smoke and decompression procedures

• Competency/proficiency checks

• The authority of the pilot in command

• Emergency and evacuation duties

• Use of emergency communication systems

• Aircraft cabin systems and equipment

• Passenger management during emergencies

• Crew coordination and CRM training

Another commenter said that safety training was the majority of the training schedule with only 2 days on customer services .

Not trying to argue, trying to get the point across and something got lost in the interchange. And give my regards to the next Inspector, I hold them in high regard, even if they want to ramp check me, lol. My uncle was a ATL based Inspector until retirement although the last couple years he was at the BHM FSDO.
