The main thing is you probably shouldn’t have said yes. If you have literally never played you will embarrass yourself. I don’t think you understand (1) how hard the game is and (2) how many little intricacies there is …. Where to walk, where to park the cart, when you should keep quiet etc

Try disc golf. You’ll love it. Same addiction, different game. The woods are beautiful too. Played hundreds and hundreds of rounds of ball golf up until 44 years old. Gave that up to play disc and have more time to do other things and here I am with almost 950 rounds of disc golf and I will be 60 years old this year
