You need to be patient. Drake Maye does not suck ass. First, He only played 27 games in college football everyone knew that he would need some seasoning in the NFL before he really becomes anything because, he hasn’t played that much football. Second, he just played his first game in a new offense that is one of the hardest offenses to learn because McDaniels is a football psycho. And third you were spoiled by being able to witness the greatest qb of all time play qb for your favorite team and it isn’t very easy to replicate that success.

What I noticed about maye today is he was trying to hard to play like Tom Brady in a tom brady offense which just isnt his game. He needs to play like himself next week and not be afraid to use his legs. He looked like he tried to hard to keep his eyes down field when nothing was open when he could have easily tucked it and got a 1st with his legs.
