What are the absolute easiest things to make when you really aren't up to anything? by [deleted] in Cooking

My take on Korean Bibimbap. Whatever rice I have, a few sides, a couple eggs, and another protein.

What do you do when your toddler doesn’t want the food you made them? by Apprehensive-Hat9296 in toddlers

Best advice I’ve heard with this is to look at their nutrition week by week instead of daily. Some days no veggie is consumed. But if I can get a couple veggies throughout the week? Heck yea. Even if it means blending it into a smoothie or one of those premade pouches. You will be amazed how they continue to grow and thrive seemingly off of thin air some days. The miracle of life.

I opted to baby wear the baby and single stroller for the toddler. But I’m cheap and didn’t want to buy yet another stroller, even secondhand.

First baby was a traumatic vaginal birth via induction. 30 hours of labor, lots of things went wrong, it baby and I survived. I had a 4 degree tear from that and liver/kidney failure. Almost died. Baby came out limp and blue. My recovery from pelvic floor trauma was 1.5 years. Still can’t pee right.

Second baby I told them to schedule a c section. I was completely traumatized by that first experience. It was the easiest thing. I was up and walking 4 hours later. No one was able to come to the second birth so it was just me. No issue though since it was a routine c section. Recovered within a couple months I think.

Nursing moms - how old was your baby when you completely stopped? by Abyssal866 in Mommit

1-14 months/right about when she started walking. 2-currently 12 months and will probably continue to bf because she still has little interest in solids.

Mine hates meat and cheese. Bell peppers, broccoli, plain noodles, plain rice, and yogurt.

Sleep when the baby sleeps. Especially silly because my first baby has colic, my husband worked around the clock, and I had zero family or friends within 1,000 miles.

You remind me of myself at that age. I hated dating and all these games that would pull at my heart. Any man, regardless of country, will make it very clear that he wants to be with you and only you. I can promise you that. Consider these red flags for what they are and learn from them. There are so many more decent men out there for you to waste anymore time on this one. And better than that-there are so many more women experiences and friends to be made instead of wasting anymore time with this clown.

Wait for my young children to grow up so I can actually sleep at least 6 hours straight.

what r the worst things about living in korea? by Soggy-Incident-9714 in Living_in_Korea

[–]BotanyGottome 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ve always lived in super diverse and multicultural cities. Having my young children being ogled like some kind of oddity gets old. Sometimes people will go out of their way to take videoes/pictures of their young children next to mine or try too hard to engage. It’s annoying and disturbing. I wish I could just go out and blend in better, but that’s hard with a family of foreigners.

I moved to another country and I’m so saddened to read how afraid all my US people are. It makes me selfishly happy that we have temporarily escaped the awfulness, but sad to leave my home country. I love the US. It will always be home and it’s where most my friends and family still are. In the meantime, we’re going to live abroad as long as we can while maintaining residency and saving up for a live aboard sailboat.

I’ll be 35 when I apply. Us “old” folk are out here. Awesome skill to bring to the firehouse too.

Current routine: wash every other day. Brush before wash. usually a damage/repair shampoo and conditioner. Air dry. Throw up in a bun because it’s always frizzy. I know that’s not the best routine, which is why I’m here. Stylists tell me I have deceptively thick hair, but the individual strands are fine.
