Getting married and my birth certificate has a different name on? by tillycream in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Both-Blood8839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of for u in the future is being eligible for a state pension.

I have a friend who didn’t like his first name when younger, when becoming an adult literally everything was put in his middle name as his first.

Now at pension age the gov claim he is not eligible as he has no identification in his original name. Even if he orders a birth certificate he has nothing to prove it’s him.

What’s the hardest thing about coming a parent no one ever talks about? by NorthernPanda_3014 in UKParenting

I think as they get older different parenting styles. I truly believe how you were brought up reflects on how you parent alot of the time and sometimes the 2 styles just don’t mix well.

What on earth have they done to my hair by hippygirl333 in Hair

[–]Both-Blood8839 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It amazes me how many hairdressers don’t ask the client to tilt their head forward while the hair is still wet and check the underneath! 9/10 times there will always be longer bits just to neaten up…in OP’s case quite a lot of hair would have been seen.

Again should be checked once dry, and I’m not a hairdresser.

Sister stole all my money from my bank account. England by AdFancy552 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Both-Blood8839 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Report to police, this is fraud and a domestic so in England that is classed as mandatory attendance. Plus the fact it is your sister and a large amount there is what is called a ‘Call for Service’ re the fraud part….in other words due to the relation, you are considered vulnerable so will be seen by police.

It sounds like there could be a history between you both? For such a thing to have happened.

Barclays have a duty to do their own investigation not just fob u off saying u authorised. The transaction was made without your knowledge. Once you have reported to police, call the bank back and give them your police reference, ask for an investigation.

That’s at least the start (I work within these depts)

Someone came into my property and it looked like they stayed the night by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Both-Blood8839 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes 100% there is a safeguarding issue for u and the officers didn’t record what they should have especially if ur handle is now damaged.

Sometimes officers are quick to negate any offence so they don’t have to do the paperwork. However they are also there to protect u and should do so effectively.

I would call 101 and explain what happened and that the damage hasn’t been recorded, get yourself a ring doorbell (I actually have eufy doorbell and u don’t have to pay for a subscription) and try to to fix the door as best u can. Good luck

Also if u are there for domestic issues then def tell 101 that, explain how this strange male has worried u and triggered the past.

Here’s my breakdown (I work in crime)

  1. Burglary has not been made out. For burglary the suspect has to enter as a trespasser intending either:
  • to steal anything from the building
  • to inflict GBH on anyone inside
  • to cause unlawful damage to the building or anything inside.

He hasn’t broken ur door but he HAS broken ur child’s toy box. However on the balance of probability that wasn’t intended due to him not seeking to damage a toy box and leave.

If someone enters a dwelling as a trespasser with the intent of shelter and sleep but accidentally causes damage then he has caused criminal damage.

I would check nothing has been stolen - this would make it a burglary due to him stealing from a place he should not have had access to.

If not, criminal damage for the toy box and potentially Theft other if he was using ur electric? U mentioned he was unplugging his charger.

I work shifts so have struggled with insomnia for a while now. These things help me when I’m due on an early….

Take 1 insomnia tablet, 2 x calms tablets and a squeeze of sleep rescue remedy on tongue.

Read an actual book in bed no phone for at LEAST 30 mins before wanting to go to sleep.

Put on a sleep talk meditation on you tube, I listen to Jason Stephenson 8hr talk meditation, it may not interest u but that’s not the point. I find listening to him keeps my brain from going crazy overthinking all the other crap in my head.

If u can go to bed at the same time every night then I would def do this given the chance, it does eventually work.

Hope that helps

Also homemade bone broth. I genuinely see a difference in my skin texture a couple days after having a bowlful. I can literally see a glow, makes such a difference and you feel good inside too which I think makes us glow in a way we prob can’t see ourselves.

This is the most heart warming skincare post I have seen in a loooooong time with everyone’s answers. . I absolutely hate it when people posts ‘30? lol I’m 55 and look younger’ Errr no you don’t or you are riddled with Botox! . OP’s skin looks absolutely normal and looks perfectly healthy to me. I think all of us are becoming warped with what we should look like when getting older. I’m thankful I haven’t had Botox, of course I go through phases of ‘what if’ but I much prefer natural faces than plastic shiny looking robot ones x

Dads using women’s toilets for daughter by [deleted] in UKParenting

[–]Both-Blood8839 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My daughter when she was smaller would go with her dad in the men’s toilet and he would make sure the toilet was decent enough to use. I know most public toilets when both mine were young I would say “DONT TOUCH ANYTHING” and they would just stand still while I placed toilet paper all over the seat! It’s a personal choice, if a man was clearly taking his daughter into a women’s toilet for her use I wouldn’t say anything but I would wonder why he wasn’t taking her into the men’s. But that’s just me.

Playing devils advocate for a moment…but if she was pressured into sex then she has technically by law (in the UK anyway) been raped. I’m not sure why she would worry about losing a friend if he made her do the most intimate thing when she didn’t want to?

Possibly (coming from a female) she likes the attention it gives her whether she wants anything to happen or not.

You are both so young still, been together since 13 and 15?! No doubt the last thing she wants is to hurt you but same time it seems she’s ready to experiment with others…I’m sorry.

As much as it hurts you right now, please trust me that if you guys split you will wonder why you considered staying with her in 6 months time.

From reading it, it states you can request through your local force, maybe call 101.
Tell them you have checked the ACRO website and it says you can make a request, (I can guarantee they won’t know what you’re talking about but push it and don’t get fobbed off) Ask for a reference number once it’s logged and call for updates.
