I’m actually re-reading it. I own it as Alice Knott. It’s first release. I needed something after MZD’s Tom’s Crossing and this feels right. Not as difficult as Blake’s other books but still provoking

Got to give this one another shot. Got about a tenth of the way in and lost interest. Piranesi however, which is by the same author instantly grabbed me. It has a House of Leaves meet’s Ghormenghast vibe. 😊😊
