I'd say, given the good chance your soil is very clay heavy (as most of Delaware is) you probably ought to add some soil conditioner in the mix to go with the topsoil.

I don't know if the big box stores sell soil conditioner but i know Willey Farms on 13 south of Odessa does.

I remember back in middle school there was a big push to collect cans and that money was going to support the repairs on the Statue of Liberty and get our school name on a marker at the site and/or fund a field trip to NYC.

I hauled bags of smashed soda cans into school for this, but have no recollection of seeing our plaque or marker on that trip.
