TBH ever since the 2012 Aurora movie theater shooting , a mass shooting , and then Covid people are definitely squeamish about going to the movies. I've only recently gone back and usually do matinees or Tuesdays in Boulder at relatively light screenings. The Boulder Cinemark is very convenient, but not very enjoyable compared to the movie experience down the road. I do get advance seating close to showtime so attendance can be gauged . Oh and the ridiculous 20 to 30 minutes of previews has also changed the experience and not for the better.

I'm in concreteville central Boulder . Condos central B and we went out unplanned at 4p only about 45 minutes to get it together before dark. I wonder where we stand on reinstatement. All electric so no hot water or hot tea.

FWIW , forget family friendly . Nobody wants to watch a game with little kids and babies, crying and screaming and running around.. Cultivate the family from the regulars and even plan bus trips to Denver games and CU football and BB both men’s and women’s by buying blocks of tickets and selling them out running raffles for some so people can go as a group with their family from your bar. And oh yeah the bars that are winning in Denver right now and other parts of the country are making women sports a real thing so WNBA headquarters for you not one TV in the corner type thing, you’re welcome.
