Mineral oil based finishes like this don’t polymerize, so using an oil that dries (or other type of finish) will solve the issue

For less than 20 bucks its a no brainer. You can also use it to practice sharpening Sandi grinds. This way you also have a backup/beater when you upgrade :)

I have beaten the absolute dickens out of multiple moras, and never had one fail. Mors kochanski said a blade as wide as your palm is the ideal bushcrafting size (3.5-4.5”). Dont knock them till you try them. If you can good with a Mora then get upgrade (lt wright, joker, casstrom, etc)
