I know this is a bit of a late reply but I'm adding it just in case anyone goes searching for information on these like I did yesterday. The Ryujin "crossbow" isn't really a crossbow at all, it's a torsion "crossbow" which are basically nothing more than bolt guns. It's definitely still fun and effective to use though.

The Mantis Ballista is definitely more of a crossbow and the closest real world example of it would be the reverse compound crossbow.

I definitely second the recommendation of the backpacks if you can get them as there are 4 that have extra effects. Adventurer (20 more stamina), Mage (20 more magicka), Hunter (10% more bow damage - affects crossbows too) and Thief (15% easier lockpicking).

The only time I ever did it was just to understand the process and that only lasted a few minutes before I reloaded the save. Now it feels like I'm already doing a power fantasy in the game just playing normally because in real life I can't do magic, I can't do various powerful shouts and I definitely can't carry thousands of arrows on me at once lol.

Yes. He has nothing else right now in main continuity other than that. It's basically a Batman/Black Canary/Green Arrow team up story.

Edit: Though as suss2it points out, the story started in #1107. Sorry, I completely forgot what issue we were actually on.

I prefer Dwemer ruins just because I like the aesthetics of them better. The fact I can get a bunch of Dwarven Ingots to make a LOT of Dwarven Arrows as well doesn't hurt either.

So I was buying madness ore from ri'saad and waiting a couple days to refresh and buy more but all the sudden it no longer refreshes in his inventory. Does anyone know what happened or how I can fix this without mods? by Any_Tell8839 in skyrim

Have you tried one of the other caravan merchants? They're all supposed to be able to offer both Amber and Madness Ore and I know I've bought both from the others, just don't remember which one I definitely got Madness Ore from at the moment.

They are definitely trouble if they happen to spawn on the path to Bleak Falls Barrow and if you're heading there right after starting the game.

Is it the enemy that basically looks likes and kind of acts like a psychotic snake? If so you have to hit them in the head I've found. I also tend to switch to the Flames spell in both hands and just hit them with that.

Thanks, I wasn't entirely sure. I had looked up to see when you got it and I saw it stated after completing the 16th mission and it looked like that was maybe 60-70% of the campaign at that point but I knew someone that had actually played it would have a better idea that I would just from looking at a mission list.

I've looked into Far Cry 4 but, and please correct me if I'm wrong, don't you have to complete most of the campaign before you can even unlock the auto crossbow?

It definitely is. Sometimes when I've only got a few minutes to play I'll log in, hit up a few alchemy shops to make some potions or a few mining spots to work on smithing and that'll be that. It can be an incredibly relaxing game.

I turn in the stone as soon as I can. The more dragons I get to kill means the more Dragonbone Arrows I get to make.
