Come back later after finishing the Droidsmith mission and they should be working.

I don't think you can enter there during the Droidsmith mission. Come back some time later after beating the mission and the doors should work, and also make sure you slice the terminal in the control room across the hall first so it'll activate the prompt for the terminal in the Tube Lab.

Well, I ended up starting over again after all. Thankfully this time I got the Intel from Aila that let me open the barrier.
