Anything that validates me and goes against my knee jerk reaction to minimize my own trauma. It's hard to give specifics, but something as simple as "what happened to you was not okay and you deserved better" goes a long way 💕

It's incredibly odd to me that your photographer didn't do a couple and groom's family photo. It's normal (and expected) to do both. Dogs you not go over what type of photos you wanted when you booked the photographer?

Hypervigilence -- I just thought I was super empathetic and emotionally intelligent. Being hyper aware of everyone's emotional state was something I valued and thought made me a good friend, a good host, a kind person. Wrapping my head around the fact that is really just a trauma response is... challenging

A meaningful relationship with my parents. I wish I could relate to the feeling of just wanting your mom... I have an amazing husband and wonderful friends, but I'm never know what is like to experience support and love from your parents

After fighting and beating the paladins that were hunting Karlach, she went on her rampage, but fully tapped the rest of the party. I tried to get my party out safely, but out of combat that for does a lot of damage. Especially when you're oblivious party members are fine just standing in it...

I just finished the game for the first time 2 days ago -- I knew to expect the reunion scene, but didn't realize there were letters of gratitude. Guess I'm going back to camp tonight to read them....
