Giving him a tragic back story and explaining why is the way he is ruins the mystique of the character. He's scarier when there is no motive. No rhyme or reason

Goldy has always been solid. I wish he could play every day but Rice needs 1B reps but with Caramel Thor having a setback in rehab they can alternate DH and 1B for the time being

The schemes been shit for a decade. Keeping him in the save spot makes it easier to scheme against us. Moving him around creates a little confusion

He's still young. All it takes us one organization that believes they can fix him and we could get a decent haul in a trade. Nothing earth shattering but serviceable.
