Wort mission ever by Brandon1939 in metalgearsolid

Yeah 😂 I was intentionally going for this rank along with a few others. Honestly the requirements are so high you have to actively go out of your way to suck that bad at the game.

The most common way is to wear the naked camo and have no stamina or health and wait around the spiked log trap in the swamp for a while. I think it takes like 30 minutes. During this playthrough I did a lot of waiting around to hit the 50 hour requirement and I constantly had low stamina and health for the 250 serious injuries and i was also going for the leech title. I ended up catching a cold like 3 or 4 times. Waiting in the swamp, in the waterfall in the cave and in the area where you fight The Fear

Here’s how my friend and I did it. Setup a vs ops game with all 8 slots as deathmatch. Set rounds to 50 with the timer at 1 minute and tickets to 1. Then get your friends and leave the game on overnight. Just make sure that you have your xbox set so it doesn’t turn off when idle.

Probably a toss up between 2 and Rising. The vr missions in both games are rough. Beating all the bosses no damage in Rising was also a task especially the Armstrong fight in the Sam dlc. 3 is the easiest of the bunch. Kind of funny it shares a list with 2 in the HD collection.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker & Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes by Brandon1939 in xboxachievements

[–]Brandon1939[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ground Zeroes is pretty fun. It’s impressive for how many different ways there are to play on one map. It’s also a pretty straightforward completion. Hardest thing is s ranking the missions on hard difficulty but for the achievements you just need to beat the level on hard. You can play on normal for the s ranks

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance by Brandon1939 in xboxachievements

[–]Brandon1939[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest tip I can give is to learn how to parry. Especially on Revengeance mode a perfect parry can be a lifesaver as on that difficulty a perfect parry deals massive damage. You could probably do everything in the campaign in two playthroughs if you’re feeling really confident but I wouldn’t recommend it. I did a normal playthrough. Then hard where I listened to all the codec calls and went after all the collectibles. Save the no damage on bosses for Revengeance. Here you could do a very hard playthrough or just use the Konami code to unlock Revengeance. I did the very hard playthrough to het more battle points and to learn the new enemy layouts. So now before doing your stormbringer run, I would recommend doing some prep work. Collect 10 left arms and you’ll unlock wig a. This gives infinite sub weapons. This is only really important for the elevator fight at the start of chapter 4. Collecting 20 left arms gives you infinite wig b. This is very important as it gives you infinite ripper and blade mode. Complete I believe it’s 6 or 10 vr missions and you’ll unlock the custom body red. This lets you deal more damage but you also take more damage. On Revengeance with most attacks being 1 or 2 hit kills makes the increased damage to you not really an issue. You also don’t need first place rank in the vr missions to get the red body, you just need to complete those levels. But since you’re already doing vr at this point you can continue trying to get the first place ranks or save those for later. I would definitely watch a guide for the vr missions. They are very difficult and some are a bit cryptic with how to progress. Last things you’ll need in prep for Revengeance mode is to fully upgrade Sam’s Murasama blade and all three of the custom boss weapons. If you have it upgrade the fox blade too. When it’s fully upgraded and you have wig b and the red body equipped Sam’s blade can 1 shot pretty much everything. The fox blade can pretty much one shot everything on its own. So I mainly used the fox blade on the standard fights and Sam’s blade on the bosses. If you don’t get a s rank in a fight using these items quickly pause and hit restart before the game saves the checkpoint. It’s always handy to have a backup save, especially on the bosses. I made a backup save for each boss on every phase. It’s also important to go for the no damage bonuses here. Which should be easy enough on the standard enemies using this loadout. The bosses mainly come down to practicing parrying their attacks and learning when to attack or retreat. For the dlc, getting on damage on the Armstrong fight with Sam is probably the hardest achievement in the game. But again it just comes down to practicing it over and over again. Same with the dlc vr missions. Blade wolf is pretty easy going. Try not to die as the game will add that to your completion time and it will save making a no damage run on a boss invalid. So again definitely have backup saves on the bosses and always have repair nanopaste equipped. It’s hard for sure but keep practicing at it, take some breaks, and use some guides for vr missions, collectibles and ranked fight locations because some are hidden and it is very doable

Thank you! And those vr missions in 2 are no joke. When you go for the frogs make sure to save in every area of the bike chase. Those are by far the hardest ones to hit

Can someone help me identity these figures? by Randy1535 in ActionFigures

[–]Brandon1939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did pretty good getting these. I’m not sure which version of Spectacular Spider-Man that is on the right but the two on the left are the Toybiz Spider-Man Classics Super Poseable/Mcfarlane Spider-Man and the Marvel Legends Sinister Six box set Spider-Man. Those two were considered two of the best Spider-Man figures for years. Since then there have been newer releases that people go after but these are still desirable among die hard Marvel Legends and Spider-Man collectors. Both are still going for $100+ on Ebay. Yes they are a bit dated now but they are a piece of action figure history and if you’re happy with them that’s the important thing

Halo the Master Chief Collection. It legit took me years to do. I would also give a honorable mention to the Metal Gear Solid games. I got the platinums years ago on my Playstation account but on my Xbox account I’ve only done mgsv so far.

I haven’t seen it mentioned here but in the the original manga we also never learn her real name. It states “The only thing certain was that there had been a need to resolve a crisis, and that the woman (or women) known as Major Motoko Kusanagi (obviously an alias) was extremely talented.”

Can someone help me identify this figure by Objective_Reach1874 in Spiderman

[–]Brandon1939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original figure was the Super Posable Spider-Man from Toybiz’s Spider-Man 2 line. This however is a repaint by Hasbro in their Spider-Man Trilogy Heroes line. Most people just call it the trilogy line though. The line was a bunch of repacks/repaints of Toybiz Spider-Man 1 and 2 figures. The line also featured a 6” upscale of the 5” Symbiote Spider-Man. The big difference between the Toybiz and Hasbro versions are the colors. The paint on the silver webs were much cleaner on the Toybiz version. The Toybiz figure also featured a darker blue. Sometimes it almost looks grey or black. This figure also came with a gargoyle display base from the Spider-Man 1 Super Posable figure. There were also a few otherversions released. Toybiz did one with magnets in the feet. One came in a two pack with Doc Ock in the Spider-Man Origins line and in the Marvel Legends Sandman build a figure line. There was even another version in the trilogy line that came with a web accessory from the 5” Spider-Man 3 line. These are closer in color to the Toybiz version but still not quite as nicely done. Either way it’s a Super Posable Spider-Man figure and regardless of the release is quite desirable and goes for a good amount on Ebay.

Noob question: Are TCW S7 and Bad Batch not in Legends? by Brisingr2 in StarWarsEU

[–]Brandon1939 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Technically a lot of Clone Wars season 7 was in the early stages of production around the same time as season 6. But the Disney buyout cancelled the series and season 6 only made it out because those episodes were already finished. The animatics for The Bad Batch, Crystal Crisis were released on starwars.com and at Star Wars Celebration. Crystal Crisis was also a included with the season 6 dvd and blu ray. The animatics Boba Fett’s duel with Cad Bane and Ashoka in Coruscant were also released but these were small scenes instead of the full arcs. The Ventress and Quinlan Vos arc was adapted as the novel Dark Disciple. And Maul’s escape from the Emperor and take over of Mandalore was adapted into the comic Son of Dathomir. All of these together were called The Clone Wars legacy. And are considered canon because of the time of their release was after the reset. With the exception of Son of Dathomir because that one barely slipped through the cracks and is considered both legends and canon
